fecking hell, Carl is here in Sac today at some convention. Just seen him on the local morning show. He wasn't wearing the hat.

The Dad from Teen Wolf is there too...now that's somebody I'd like to meet.

I thought it was going to happen. And it didn't. :(

Also, something happened! Even if it wasn't very surprising.

What was going to happen? Carl getting killed? For a moment, yeah it seemed liked that.. the last gut shot before the seasons ends.

So they are cannibals as predicted by almost everyone. Carol and T-dog IV are the only ones left, so I suppose they will be the rescuing party.

Good episode. Thought the move to take that Terminus guy hostage was dumb though. They'd all be dead in real life

I was sat there laughing at the machine gun guys not even pointing their weapons in the right direction. Thankfully Rick had the line about them not wanting to kill them, but for a moment I honestly thought they were trying to pass that off as genuine.

I thought the marauder group part was pretty silly. The entire last episode the guy was trying to get Darrel on his side, at the expense of his own men. Then they want to beat him up instead and throw him away. Rick didnt even bring up the fact that they burst into the place he was staying and that he felt the strangling was self defence in order to survive. Might not have changed anything but stupid not to even mention it.

Speaking of stupid, is it just me that thinks its stupid to collect a whole bunch of people together like that in the train car? If you're going to be dicks then be dicks and make sure it doesn't come back to bite you in the ass. Eventually something is going to happen. Speaking of which, we dont know that they are cannibals just robbers with some religious stuff going on. If they are cannibals it seems stupid that we had the big predictable reveal that they are bad guys without anything to suggest that they are actually cannibals, and they'll reveal it later. Nobody asked what the food was. Nobody tasted it. And in fact its probably just a way to earn people's trust before taking all their stuff

I didnt think Carl was going to die. But I did find his line about not being a monster strange. He murdered the unarmed kid last season, why is he looking down on his dad who murdered a child rapist?

The whole cannibal stuff has come out due to the comics. Plus there have been some hints, with the BBQ and even in this episode they had to go past human remains after a possible slaughter

If they are cannibals its stupid, because the BBQ gave you the slight feeling of it but had no follow up. A pile of bones? Yeah like the whole world isnt full of bones and dead bodies and has nothing to do with cannibalism. They should have had a line in the episode that confirms it at the very least. For now it just looks like they are locking people in the train car and taking their stuff

Not sure what you're saying here. It's stupid because they don't outright confirm it? Isn't that sort of the point, leaving it a question?

I don't know why you watch this series anymore, or why you bother spending time talking about it on here. You clearly don't enjoy it. If you could for a second think that they were actually trying to hit them in the "shoot out" then it's obvious you think the worst of the show.

No? The point would be "These guys are nice, FOOLED YOU THEY'RE THE BAD GUYS!" not "These guys are nice, FOOLED YOU THEY'RE THE BAD GUYS. Months later we'll confirm they ate some people yadda yadda, other minor info"

If they're going to do it, make it part of the reveal. Who gives a shit if they're cannibals if we already know they're the enemy? There's no shock value in that.

I dont know why you post in this thread if you don't want to discuss the show.

Well, they do

If you need them to say it out loud, well... It would be a bad television, don't you think? Would it be more realistic if the cannibals would go around and tell all their victims that they're what they are?

Wow, bones and dead people in the world of walking dead. Shocking.

Has absolutely nothing to do with cannabalism by humans, unless you count zombies as cannibals who have left that around since the beginning of the show.

All they needed is some random extra person they caught in the train car to say his friends and himself were caught and he heard a rumour they're eating people. Or a line from the cannibal to another cannibal (because you know, they can talk to each other) about something to do with eating humans.

Instead they left it to people who have read the comics and a slight hint with the BBQ which could easily have just been paranoia.

Not a full on explosive finale like last time but was still good I thought. I was wondering why the snipers were so bad at shooting them from a few feet away, so does suggest they wanted them alive for the cannibalism thing.

Carol and T-dog IV are the only ones left, so I suppose they will be the rescuing party.
and Beth, maybe Judith will attack them with her rattle

Well, have you seen a lot of bones in the series before? Let me tell you why not... because all dead people became zombies who somehow rot very slowly.
I didn't read the comics but I get that they're probably cannibals even before discussing it with other people.

There are just bones, not even a full skeletons - there is no dead/rotting corpses lying around, not a sign of meat on this bones - why is that? This is not a zombie thing - it's inside this Terminus, they would've clean this up.
And some people locked in the wagons as they run through. And the accent on the BBQ is so obvious that you can't help but wonder.

Seriously, it's the show for the adults, not some Dora the explorer, you need to think a bit. Just a bit - it's not some "philosophical" show like LOST or smth, but they don't need to have the narrator voice in this series, explaining everything?

Oh, this was a finale? :(
I should've realized.

Yes. On people the zombies are eating because obviously they arent very good at taking the bones out of their food.

Useless. You're done.

Thought it was good but ended suddenly. Felt more like the episode before a finale rather then a finale but whatever.

Yes, loads of loose ends and really feck-all actually happened. Those four taking out a gang of hardened killers was totally unbelievable.

Felt like a penultimate episode or a mid season finale. Was a better episode than last week though. Rick going all zombie like was funny.

Thought it was one of the best season finales I've seen bar none. The metaphor of the animal trap/noose for terminus was really clever and only clicked for me at the end .

Loved the flashbacks and Rick telling Carl not to give the sheep names since "they would be food and there's no point getting attached", then the people in terminus not referring to them by their real names (all but confirming cannibalism) when they were directing them towards the trailer was really, really subtle and smart.

The scene when Rick went full zombie made me say "holy shit!" out loud which no TV show has done in a while. Great acting all around, really looking forward to the next season.

They really did confirm it in the episode though....the pile of human bones that they passed being led through terminus; the metaphor of the animal trap in the flashbacks being terminus; the powdered milk on the floor of the trailer they trap them in being used to fatten them up; the flashback to the scene with Carl where Rick tells him not to name the pigs they are farming because "they will soon be food" and then the people at Terminus not using their real names ("samurai girl, you're next" etc.), plus this whole scene :

I thought it was really clever, well-paced, great acting. Really excited for season 5 now and I never counted myself a huge fan of the show before really!
