Television The Walking Dead

How many series does this go on for? Also, didn't think it's possible, but the Zombies are becoming more daft & silly... I'm waiting for The Walking Dead: Pet Zombies... I need a few characters to die out and there to be more of an immediate threat...

Also agree with other's regarding the pace and the episodes being generally worse/longer when they focus on one group.

I think it's finally happened. I've stopped watching The Walking Dead. I'm about 4 or 5 episodes behind now, and have no urge to watch them whatever.

Saying that I'll probably watch all the remaining episodes when its the finale.

That wouldn't solve anything as the survivors would still turn into walkers when they die. And I'd say it's safe to assume any babies born after the outbreak (like Judith) would be infected as well. It won't just go away by itself.

I did nto say it would make everything perfect but the mass infestation would be gone, they obviously have a new reality in a world where anyone who died had to have their head destroyed before they turned. You would still have odd zombie being created and small outbreaks but not large hords running around. So it would provide some sort of end game for the survivors finding some level of safety.

Just how rural is Georgia? It's like the fecking rainforest or something....endless trees and the odd tiny hamlet.

Daryl should have boned whatsername in that coffin.

Some areas more rural then others. Among the areas in George are part of the Great Okefenokee Swamp.

All of the areas bordering Georgia are fairly rural as well. I would guess the zombies ate everyone in Atlanta and have started moving out from there.

If they were smart, the people would head east to the barrier islands along the coast. Maybe Hilton Head in South Carolina. They could clear the island of zombies slowly. The only problem would be growing crops, I guess. Apparently there are endless supplies of non-perishable foods though. Still, they could have lots of seafood and a safe place to live unless Zombies can swim. Parris Island is also just across the bay. Lots of weapons, ammo.

The writing in this show..

I hate how one dimensional they have made Glenn and Maggie. Their only purpose on this show now is to be with one another.

The best thing is, Beth, Maggie's sister and her last blood relative is also separated from her. Yet, she has not spoken one line about her or expressed any anguish that she might be in danger as well. I am pretty sure that is because writers have simply forgotten she is Maggie's sister.

That was awful, this whole thing is just rubbish filler. Obviously they'll stumble upon this Terminus place in the finale and that'll be that.

This show could actually be good if they didn't have so many bloody episodes every season, it's clear they don't have the budget for it.

They don't have the budget for too many episodes ?

Well obviously they have the budget to make them but not a big enough budget to make 16 episodes filled with action scenes and such, which is what I want from a god damned zombie show, not listening to shit, one dimensional characters moan and reflect for 42 minutes with the odd zombie bash every now and again.

I mean the whole of that episode with Bob (ffs), Maggie and female T-Dog amounted to nothing, they were together, they split, they were together again, they walked again. Well done.

I didn't mind the episode tbh. But the characters in this show are all so crap. The only decent character for me is sword lady. I still have no idea what Lunas name is. Maggie is just irritating as hell. It says a lot when I missed Dave in this episode "Kkkkkkkkkkaaarl".

Also you gotta laugh at Daryls amazing zombie strategy "the only way in is the front door". He then proceeds to let a dozen or so zombies through the front door. Good job Daryl.

 I noticed Maggie's complete lack of interest in Luna Lovegood too.

So why are there so many frigging zombies bowling about in the woods then?

I think in an earlier episode (season 2 maybe) they covered that in showing some of the zombies at first following the sound of a helicopter which brought them out of an urban area. They also talked about them just aimlessly wandering around searching for food to eat.

But in reality the reason is that it is probably easier to shoot the show in some rural settings and they need to have zombies so viola zombies in the woods.

So was that chapel some sort of honey trap, or was Luna 'rescued'? I reckon the latter, despite the gangster looking car.

I'm getting very close to sacking the 'Walking Dead' from my viewing habits.
It's been very, very dull since the break.
I will probably stick it out till the end of the series, to see what happens, but it's beginning to feel like a bit of a slog.

To be honest, the hope that "Karrrrrrrrrrrrl" gets disemboweled is about the only thing keeping me watching sometimes.....

Might be easier to just follow this thread and wait for people to celebrate his death, than watching

The show is getting really boring, we don't need an entire episode for each group, you could easily fit the last 3 episodes into one, even if it's building up to something good eventually, the fact still remains that the journey right now sucks.

Carol needs to take her out. She's done it before. I'm guessing that's how Tyreese finds out about the other people she killed.

Best episode of the season so for me. Started off slow and I thought it would go no where but the whole arc was good and very well acted

Glad Carol killed that little brat. Shame Tyrese didn't kill Carol as well though, but suppose she's not as bad as before.
When the little girl fell over the barbed wire fence she didn't even try and get up.
