Television The Walking Dead

Saw it, didnt really feel like saying much about the episode itself. So yeah...

I quite like Eugene, so I enjoyed the episode.

I do think he's acting though, at one point he said he held a PHD and is a doctor, even though we know that he only went to High School after he catfished Abraham & Rosita.

Also I think it was an important development role for Dwight, I think he's become or will become disloyal to Negan and sacrificed the doctor to save himself & Sherry.

I thought it was a decent episode too. Looking forward to see how the dwight eugene relationship develops.

Eugene's a decent character. I think it would have been interesting to see how he acted while Daryl was there too though, to see more of his growth. Least he has the balls to admit he wants to kill Negan.

Especially since their only moment so far was Eugene having a chomp out of Dwight's groin.

I enjoyed it, Eugene was drowning in puh but he refused it, in an apocalypse you take it when it comes

he seems to have fooled Negan anyway, he's up to something and I'm looking forward to see where his story goes next.

I was browsing through some Sopranos clips yesterday and it just crossed my mind how inferior the dialogues in TWD are to the ones in Sopranos. Just basic dialogue on a human level you know? I don't really mind gaping plotholes in TWD but man, they really need to step up the writing with regards to the dialogues cause they are crap.

It shouldn't take watching the Sopranos to realise this.

I would seriously avoid watching tonight's episode if anyone values their time.

I didn't mind the Rick and Michonne scenes (except for the one where they actually tried to convince you Rick was dead - yeah, right). The rest of it I just don't care about.

That was for Michonne more than the viewer, any viewer with half a brain would have known it was the deer and i'm sure the show knew this.

Was OK episode IMO, definitely better than Eugene one last week.

Michonne and Rick time was cool, Michonne is always joy to watch, but Rosita story is just forced as fek. The way her character is developing, she'll get killed real soon I think

Shooting Zombie was quite something. The rick/michonne stuff was good (albeit their relationship still just came out of nowhere and I dont see the chemistry between them. Doesnt seem... genuine)
But it really should have been a whole episode of just them two tbh given every other character is an idiot.

But speaking of idiots, they went to the garbage trash people ... and hand over guns even though they want more. Wouldnt you keep them until you have a whole lot, then arm them? And then I didnt get the negotiating.
"10, no 5, 10, no 6, 10, no 9. Actually 20 now.
Ok yes...."
Imagine that working in a hostage negotiation. Or any where else. Ever.

Rosita has become a really stupid character., which is annoying as shes great to look at. Sasha? is garbage anyway, so a oneway ticket for both of them is great. Rosita was blaming the reverend for not killing Negan, but she was like 5 yards away from him and somehow shoots his bat. So yeah... ok.

I wouldnt say it was a terrible episode, nor would i say it was pretty good. It started off good but then just went all TWD on us.
That deer though  That really put the special into special effects.

Also I love how these walkers are the noisiest feckers around, but they somehow always manage to be quiet and ambush people (like Rosita) when it just pops out of nowhere continuing to be the noisiest fecker.

Finally Sasha and Rosita plan is actually stupid when you think about it. Instead of going to the Saviours, they know Negan comes out in the open pretty much every other week, acting like a douche with no protection. Why not wait until that happens when hes separated from most of his people and then snipe him out? Rosita is basically doing the exact same thing that didnt work the first time, but with Sasha on her side now.

This show

Boring episode again. How much 'character development' do we need in order to move the plot forward and get some excitement? I swear, some of the dialogues are spermicidal.

:lol:spot on

I'm just looking forward to the unification of all the communities, including Oceanside, and then the eventual (I hope) overthrowing of Negan.

Knowing our luck, they'll keep him in power for 2 full seasons.

That episode was so bad, they've been hiding away Coral's stupidity lately just to replace it with Rosita's , I hope Negan smashes her head in.

 great summary of that episode.

That deer had me laughing. Looked like CGI from 2001.

Yeah it didn't blend in right at all it looked so cartoon-y, why not just use a real dear for god sake it's not as if it actually gets eaten.

I didn't mind the episode tbh though at least we saw a happy rick instead of a moody one.

Wow that was a ridiculously boring filler. And I don't usually mind the filler episodes.

I thought it was better than last week's, but that's not a compliment.

Why do we all still watch this show again?

This show literally just repeats itself over and over and over again.

It's almost like HIMYM and suits at times now, where I just watch it so that it ends.

Like most episodes, this one started off well and then slowly got worse until it reaches a cliffhanger at the end that is never as good as it is built up to be. There was also a ridiculous amount of cringe-worthy moments and boring relationship stuff that no one actually cares about.

They really killed off the wrong characters in the first episode. Abraham was much more interesting than most of those that are still around put together. Even the characters that had some sort of edge to them before, like Darryl, have now become boring and lame. That's what this show is now, a bunch of characters no one is interested in just going through motions. The writing is just godawful.

By the way I noticed that the show is better watched while drunk. It doesn't get better, but it's funnier that way.
