They should've showed us who got Lucille'd then left it with The Savior's leaving them to pick themselves up, and Rick looking like a crazed maniac who wants revenge.
I think I know who it is though, but in 6 months time it's not going to matter as much, and it's likely to be spoiler'd before then.
This happened with Game of Thrones. People are be all over Atlanta getting set photos, it will be spoiled.
Not even the actors know who was killed off so until they start filming again I doubt it'll be spoiled.
Really loved the final 10 minutes or so....UNTIL the stupid cliffhanger. Was an anticlimax. They should have shown it.
That was terrible. Why bother ending on another cliffhanger when you've spent the entire season building up to that moment? You'd generate more interest by killing someone on-screen than you would having it spoiled as soon as they start filming again. A load of cynical nonsense.
Most of the episode was them just driving around, stop, turn around and drive somewhere else. Started getting interesting the last 20 mins or so.

The whole thing was boring but at least it was building up to a moment we all knew was coming, to end it on a cliffhanger is cheap and just poor writing. People are going to find out easily anyway, once they start shooting it's gonna be everywhere.

It's definitely not Carl, Negan says after choosing the person something along the lines of "if any of you move i'll take the boys eye out, then feed it to his dad, and then we can get started"
Plus based on how they were lined up, if you're looking at the TV screen - Carl & Eugene were furthest to the right and the person selected seemed to be somewhere towards the left after Rick. Which means it could be Maggie, Abraham, Michonne, Daryl, Glen or Rosita.

It's actually really annoyed me how they spent the last part of the episode making you feel totally helpless, introduced an imposing character... and then did nothing with it. That was the perfect opportunity to brutally off one of the group and they decided that "Haaa look another cliffhanger! We're so fun lolllz" was a better course of action. Idiots.
Im sure Negans first words were about pee-pants or something which made me believe he was a clown rather than menacing. But then it turned around into full on what a douche, creepy bastard. And then that ending

Is the character dead though? Didn't Negan say the person chosen will beaten almost to death or something along those lines? And I don't think it's Carl since Negan said something like if he does something, take out his second eye and feed it to the dad. So don't think it's Rick (obviously) or Carl.
He did say that but at the end even when the screen went black he was just battering who ever's head it was, so I'd imagine they're dead.
Stopped watching before the mid season break. Too many annoying/unlikable characters and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

I doubt anyone would be able to raise their head after one blow to the head like that. On 'Talking Dead' the creator and producer (or director?) said they purposefully made the 'Eenie, Meenie, Minie, Moe' part abstract so that people wouldn't be able to figure out who was whacked.

It's unrealistic sure but we're talking about TWD here, it's not the most unrealistic thing in the show and whoever got whacked still raised their head after the first blow, hell they seemed to still be alive after a few blows.
The eenie meenie minie moe part was there to throw everybody off for sure, but that doesn't mean we can't rule out a few people at the very least, Carl & Rick being named dropped can definitely be ruled out. From then on it's just different people's individual theories.
