Television The Walking Dead

I actually lol'd when this 'badass' woman who has apparently killed umpteen people had both Carol and Maggie in plain view, with their backs turned, from about five yards away, in a narrow corridor - and missed them both with every single bullet.

It seems the rule of TWD universe is that the main group of characters can headshot everyone and everything from about five miles away with pistols, but every other group can't hit anything ever.

I have a theory about Negan, following what Andrew Lincoln (the guy who plays Rick) said about the script for the finale.

The Savior's wanted a fair trade, and Maggie & Carol took that chance away from them, and killed everybody in sight instead.
Now, when Negan hears of this, he's going to want revenge and at least 1 of the group will die, I think that's a fair assumption most of us have accepted.

But what if Negan says to Rick - if you want to save the rest of your group, you are going to have to choose who I get to kill.

Or worse still - you have to kill someone in your group to save the rest?!

The guy who plays Rick, said that when he read the script he wanted to throw up, so I do think it's going to be different from the usual big character deaths we're used to.

And he's spent all season killing people who aren't members of his group with ease and without question, so maybe that's a sign too.
Aside from him returning to a ruthless killer - there have been clues that he's lost his humanity when it comes to outsiders, and maybe Negan forcing him to choose someone to kill, or forcing him to kill someone will affect him more in the long run.

If Rick kills one of his own then how can the group continue to trust him to be their leader? I know I wouldn't.

That's a good point - if he was forced to kill someone in the group, it could cause much more internal rifts and have a long term effect, much more than if Negan were to just kill someone by himself. And if Rick's group has killed most of Negan's men, Negan will know he's outnumbered and will have to do something different if he is to win. And something like that could leave Rick's group divided and vulnerable, and give Negan a better chance of taking his revenge in the end.

But i'm just speculating based on the what the actor's have said about the script, plus the polarities between Carol counting her kills, versus Rick killing almost without consciousness. There's certainly been an underlying theme regarding the humanity of those who are left.

Imagine Maggie is kidnapped again, and he threathens to kill her and her baby unless Rick kills one of his own group out in the open. rofl.

I think it's clear now that Glenn can't die.

yeah fecking quotas... being the only asian he is quite safe. The black folks though...

Spoiler

I'm not touching those spoilers but I'm going to  anyway just in case there was a funny quip in there.

Liked that episode, Carol came into her own. She knew she was going to kill everyone and was going to hate doing it. Plus not even a sniff of Karl, win win. I was wondering what the feck the writers were doing introducing Morgan and his pacifism but now it all makes sense. At the end of the day what is humanity, is it worth holding on to?

Spoken like a true serial killer.

Can someone please tag me when they eventually kill off everyone? I watched 3 seasons of this show to watch that damn kid avoid every bleeding zombie, so when he does eventually get his arm chewed off let me know.

Also Steve can piss off the annoying idiot. He should never have lost his hat.

What's the point of Negan "trading" the life of one of his own to a hypothetical change of Rick's character/role of the group? It's not Star Wars, the villains don't need the good guys to became corrupt and come to the dark side. If Negan is not a collective ego and is still alive, than he would want revenge and if it will have something to do with Rick killing his own, it will be incredibly bad scripted

Can someone do a synopsis of what happened this time round? Not gonna get a chance to watch it for ages

 @ that ludicrous dick bite scene.

Glad fatty got it. She was annoying. And nobody has the right to be fat in the apocalypse. That's next level gluttony.

Denise was one of the very few characters who I actually liked. Shame she's gone. Cool death though, never saw it coming.

Eugene biting Rickety Cricket's dick was just dumb though. He had a gun, just shoot him

I was about to post about how boring and filler the episode was until lezzer mk. 3 got the arrow in the face. That and the dick bite scene were hilarious.

I think I want to be in a zombie apocalypse after watching this. I'm smarter than all the characters in this (not hard), the women are gorgeous, and they have terrible standards. What's not to like?

Well, that's the last we'll see of Carol then. She was good and everything and I'm sure she won't turn up captured or to save Glenn just as he's about to get it.

So now Carol wants to leave? Annoying writing to be honest. Not wanting to kill anymore, fine, but actually leaving the group she killed for? Come on man. And they seriously need to cut it out with the moral crap. And write better dialogues.

This, exactly this. Especially the first line, I burst out laughing when the arrow went through her eye. I didnt even feel sorry for her because she was being dumb as feck, and standing out in the open ranting some BS. It really was a boring as feck episode until that moment. Then it became one of the funniest.

I hope Eugene doesnt have a nut allergy though.

Oh and Carol, leaving again, this time on her own? haha, where is she going to go? Probably be captured by the Saviours and then will need rescuing cos shes getting soft. Still, shes the best written character on the show.

 ffs they really took the piss with that moment.

Im sure theres a joke in that sentence...

But whats funny is the dude who has his dick being bitten, had a gun in his hand. Why not shoot Eugene in the head or just smash him with his gun (Goodfellas style)? TBH, I didnt even know who he was and it didnt click it was the guy that stole the crossbow from Daryl.
But it really should have since they threw in that scene about Daryl somehow found his bike from the same dude or something. Whatever.

You just knew the doctor girl was going to killed off in this episode saw it coming easily. The narrow miss of death before her good samaratian speech scene focus, it was just brewing. They've done this before in the past with a few forgettable characters, focus away from the main ones, trim off the edges before reverting back to the original group. Funny death though, excellent memory to continue blurting out her lines with a arrow popping through her skull, and Eugene biting cock was a good laugh.

I don't quite get where the Carol arc has come from. I often end up messing about online with this on in the background, so might have missed something. Why has she suddenly gone all introspective and moral about bumping people off? She was bang up for it a few episodes ago.

Well when your competition consist of mostly zombies whose dick may have fallen off, you're king.

So wait...Carol went from killing an entire complex full of people with Maggie last week to leaving because she didn't want to kill anybody this week? errrm what?

Don't know why people are so confused about Carol. She has killed loads of people, including executing a mentally disturbed child and she's seen her daughter die.

PTSD is kicking in big time now.

TBH, they showed signs of Carol being like this last week (and I think the week before). Shes been keeping count, she was hesitant for Maggie to go in (cos shes pregnant). I still think her character is the best especially the full arc.

Boring episode apart those 3 minutes. It was obvious that the doctor was going to die, they showed not one, but two characters refusing protection and someone should've been killed for it - that's the screen writer's logic. And Eugene has more story in him to continue. Arrow through the eye was hilarious though and so was the nut job

Oh, and Carol leaving - meh.
