Television The Walking Dead

 I think it was supposed to be a jail cell.

Also, anyone else find it comical how easily everyone punctures skulls on this show? Like, is everyone's head made of jello? They just slide their knives through heads as if it's tissue paper. :wenger:

In the compound they went through the eye socket not the skull. As for the numerous walking dead they are all rotten and flimsy I guess.

I'm not expecting ultra-realism in TWD but they seemed to be sticking those knives awful slowly, you'd think a person would scream out in absolute agony.

Yeah, the eye socket explaination makes sense, but that they were doing it so slowly made me wonder why those guys weren't screaming. Must have been a long day for them to be able to sleep through that.

Also, biggest suspension of disbelief: Hard to believe a woman as fine as Rosita gets dumped by a fat ginger with bad facial hair.

It was slow but that was for viewer tension I guess and maybe they were heavy sleepers!, think we need to suspend a lot of sense with TWD. Still such an amazing show though.

Rosita is fine (those pants are sprayed on), it is a strange one, the guy obviously has charm and a c0ck like a fluffy ginger mule.

No screaming would be fine if we heard some muffles to indicate they put the other hand over the mouth to stop the noise. Dunno.

Oh well, really enjoyed that episode, more so than the opener.

Im concerned that those people at the end were not Negan's people (although the photos on the wall would suggest otherwise?)

Considering the Werewolves are still around then there's a lot going on right now.

Good episode though.

I was kinda hoping that Jesus tricked them and made them slaughter innocent people, but then last weeks episode wouldnt have made too much sense. Oh and yeah, the photos on the wall to make us feel less sad about the silent sleep kills.

I know there is evidence against it... but I still think Jesus is Negan. Would just be such a great twist.

Yeah, it's totally not like that in my personal experience. Unrealistic!

Deleted quite a few Negan posts there.

Rules are that future spoilers of any sort, like who a character is, should not be posted, or at least put in tags with a warning.

Negan will appear in the last 5 minutes of the finale presumably. I hope his full name is Ronald Negan.

I thought it was an excellent episode, as far as episodes of TWD go. They've fully crossed over now. They have no evidence of their own that these are bad people and they go in and slaughter them. They're the same as all the other groups now. No moral high ground. I like it.

Me too. Apart from the inevitable inner turmoil and self hatred we're going to have to suffer from Glenn over the next 3 episodes.

Could Negan be female?

The lady on the loudspeaker as Negan would be different. About time there was a proper villain lady.
Nancy Negan would be kind of fitting now, but maybe poor taste.

Thank feck the red head got it. Her voice was annoying as hell. She talked as if she was speaking to a baby.

Those people were shit and annoying. Why did they leave their two prisoners alone? WTF were they doing while they were both escaping?

Things from this episode

The guy who stole Daryl's stuff ages ago is a saviour, though seemed to be on the run from them with the girls - had stolen something from them. Saw from one of the savior girls who was killed this time round the price for that is mutilation (she had a finger cut off).

Not all the saviours seem to be 'bad' people, but all seem to be hardened, if conveniently stupid.

There seem to be (a lot) more of them at various outposts, with sophisticated sounding radio contact protocols, safe houses etc. They seem potentially more organised than Rick's lads, taking them on isn't going to be easy and presumably they've learnt things about Rick's group over the radio

Carol seems to be having a bit of a breakdown/Morgan's got in her head, doesn't bode well.

Your spoiler said things from this episode then you posted shit about the next episode. Some of us don't watch the teasers.

Agreed, thats annoying as feck. At least mark what is from previews. Current episode discussion doesnt even need spoilers.

Carol has been the best character on TWD. her whole arc has been the best one from a show that really struggles with character development. The way they were doing it with her (last week and this week) I somewhat felt they were going to to do the typical, give somebody an episode then kill them off. Glad they didnt this time.

I did like them killing the backup crew with the fire. Theyve more than crossed the line, and as Maggie was told (think it was Maggie rather than Carol), they arent the good guys. Not with their actions.

Really fun episode, and ive enjoyed all the ones since the return from the break. Theyve all had action and intensity about them.

Back when they killed the crew from Terminus, I vaguely remember the leader saying something like "you'll end up like us" before being killed. I have a feeling we might see the Rick and the group descend further into the dark side when their survival is threatened.

It was also interesting when the annoying redhead mentioned Congressmen and the like being evacuated, I wonder if that will have any significance.

The second half of this season is probably as consistent a run as its had.

I do like this moral muddying of the water.

They're all Negan apparently. Am I Negan? Hey quit saying Negan in there...

Was Carol really having a fit or acting as part of a plan?
Good to see Maggie go psycho

The whole thing was an act. Her hyperventilating, telling them to spare Maggie and the baby etc - she was making them underestimate her and view her as a sensitive motherly type who is out of her depth. They even bashed us over the head with the message by having one of them say 'how are you even alive?' or some such, which was a tad unnecessary.

I'm loving what they've done and are doing with Carol's character. They've shown her transformation from a meek and submissive wife into a pragmatic realist, who knows what it takes to survive. But now they're adding an extra element, showing that her actions are taking a toll. Most well written character on the show.

Wonder if we will get a 'Civil War' scenario eventually. The group of main characters have been far too pally for too many seasons. Bring back Shane to feck shit up.

Probably be Morgan, who sways Carol due to the toll its taking on her to keep killing. And others may step up. So Morgan/Carol/Maggine/Glenn/Daryl vs Rick/Michonne/Abraham/Sasha. I can really seeing it go that way and wouldnt mind (in a season or two after this whole Negan thing)

Decent episode again. Agree that it's the best run the show has had, probably since season 1.

Does Jesus play the Spider-Man role?

Weren't they gathering walkers on pikes to block the exit?

I'm lost with this whole Negan thing, they're all Negan (what?) or was that last guy Negan? If the latter was true, then surely they would want to question him first instead of shooting him instantly.

WHAT IF RICK IS NEGAN!?
