Television The Walking Dead

I thought the cannibal-subplot was TWD at its peak, it was genuinely intriguing and dark. Could almost feel the hate from Rick's group towards them.

Will be funny if its one of the kids that pressed or is pressing the horn. Like that kid who followed Rick.

But then he'd bring his own little brother and mother in danger, I doubt that.

I've just thought too (not sure if anyone mentioned it) but the huge crowd of walkers stuck in the quarry could nobody smell their flesh?

I mean is it not red hot in Georgia for the most part the smell of thousands of bodies rotting flesh would surely be quite a distinctive and noticeable smell

Take yer logic and get the feck out you hear me

Watched the episode last night and genuinely forgot what was going on it's been that long since the last series.
Yeah, me too. Been months and I had no clue why all the walkers were in the quarry.
Completely forgot about the wolves. They should do a hot sex scene, possibly lesbian, with Mischon (sp?) If they want to boost ratings.

All I wanna know is, where's the hot tanned army brunette chick?

So many critics about everything TWD these days, yet you'll all be back watching it on Sunday....just to start criticizing it again on Monday!

Just like United eh? So many people criticising United about being boring yet will continue to follow them and support them, but still criticise after a boring game ;)

Hey man, at least the acting on the soccer pitches these days are better than 90% of what's on television! ;)
That's the plan!
Hahaha, I have much lower standards then most, so the terrible stuff in TWD doesn't bother me that much at all.

I honestly think TWD would be much better to watch on bingefests. Maybe it should be moved to Netflix and then just seasons released :P

No one else laughed at Rick immediately shutting down Carver after he volunteered to help??

Was better than last season anyway.. Hopefully Carol dies in this season!

My guess is it's the two lads who have the two trailers full of zombies and disco lights. ZOMBIE RAVE!

Maybe the wind direction took the smell away from their little fortress town?

Enjoyed that episode. Surprised nobody else has seen it or is discussing it. Nice to see a lot of action in a non finale or premier episode. As frustrating as it was to see Morgan not want to kill, maybe they will go into that in an upcoming episode (also why he was the only one to come back and where everybody else was). But him letting a group who wanted to kill him (was the one who took the gun the one that also attacked him in the s5 finale? Also the one he beat up at the end the other one from the finale who pointed a gun at him?) - I assume the latter isnt dead but will surely be questioned - if they havent left any body to talk to thats mad. (The former will probably return at a later time, kill somebody and that will push Morgan over the edge for letting him go).

Also nice there wasnt a huge mystery around the horn and it was just accidental. Anyway, liked badass Carol and conflicting badass Morgan.

Show has defo been better since they found this place.

Yup was a very good episode, surprised they managed to do it without Rick!

I like Morgan. Can't have everyone to be like Rick/ Carol, plus Morgan hasn't (to our knowledge) ran into groups like the governors or the canibals so you can't expect him to kill other humans so easily. Especially when he's so cool and can beat and disarm any man with the stick.

I wonder where the show is going now. Also what are the motives of these W guys.

Entertaining episode. Eugene is still my favourite character. Let's be honest. We're all Eugene. If there was a group of maniacs coming in trying to kill everyone, we'd all think our services were required standing looking at the doctor, as opposed to running outside to fight.

Although it was still annoyingly contrived this episode at least was entertaining.

They're really trying to make me like Carol, which I probably would if they hadn't spent about 4 years building up a boat load of hate.

Lennie James is total bad ass even though he's trying not to be, he's like the anti Carol. At the end when he and Carol walked past each other on the street and didn't say anything he was holding what looked like a packed lunch in a paper bag, what was it?

Carl's stupidity almost got him killed again, hopefully in an episode soon someone will actually get the job done, anything to stop a romance developing between him and that girl who is so memorable I didn't realise that was her at the beginning until someone pointed it out to me.

Nah, my place would be locked in the cupboard with Jessie

Pretty much summed up my thoughts, I really enjoyed it. It was brave to do a full show without any of the main characters but it was done so well

Was glad to see jessie make a kill, I want her to get more screen time I like her and ricks potential partnership.

The last scene especially was so good, the way Morgan and carol crossed paths and didn't even look at each other

Was Carl's little bird in with the wolves too she disappeared when they did, the wolves had photos of inside the walls so there must be a snitch of somesort within Alexandria.

I'm sure One of the wolves picked up a weapon and took it after Morgan gave them the "these people have guns yours do not" speech, will that be used to kill a memeber of the group in a further episode.

Can't wait for next week though now.

Didn't they find those photos when the [generic fella who's name I can't remember but I remember is gay] dropped his backpack in the last season?

Also I reckon that young strange girl is a spy.

Not necessarily, it's often a typical tv thing to save budget. In a lot of series, there's episodes the highest paid cast miss. But it worked here.

For once I can honestly say I liked that episode. Carol is still terribly annoying, so is Coral, but it was good so see some shit go down and the horn not being some deep faux-emotional story.
