Television The Walking Dead

So I take season 2 isn't that great ?

lot of filler. Some good bits. but lot of filler.

Think that was the first time I realized how annoying Carrrrrl was.

Season 2 is the worst is it?:nervous:

I actually didn't mind season 2 for what it is worth. It gets a lot of criticism but I thought it wasn't too bad. Although maybe that's just because I only remember the good parts. I also binged watched it which probably made it easier.

Has anyone seen the phot recap for Walking Dead episodes?

If you don't know what they are, here's the one for S1E01. I think they're brilliant

:lol:That was excellent. Is there a list of all of them in order? Can find the odd random episode recap here and there from reddit searches and some of them are a bit hit and miss tbf.

Probably been posted before and I definitely laughed too much at these:

:lol:Someone has finally found a use for Carl as a straight man to Rick's bad jokes.

There aren't that many. If you've searched 'Photo recap' on the Walking Dead subreddit they're all there. Only really became popular mid way through the latest series.

Shame. I only found about half a dozen I think.

Onto season 4 with this. Starting off a bit slow, season 3 was fantastic television
One thing I've noticed, are they not allowed to call them zombies? Lurkers, biters, walkers but never zombies.
Plus it seems to have moved away from the zombies funnily enough. They just pop out of nowhere when the plot slows down and disappear as quick, plus they're killing them like they're swatting flies. It's a bit too easy

They live in a world where zombies never existed (or that word) so its all pretty new to them (as it should be) so they just call it what they see.

I cant remember what happened in s3. I always assume this show comes off better when binge watching.

Season 3 is the guvnor and the debut of the prison.
The zombie thing makes sense I suppose, just seems like they're trying to say everything but zombie, like in Smallville when they danced around the name Superman

It's because they don't know what zombies are. If you think about it, why are they even called zombies? If you'd never seen anything like it before, you wouldn't automatically call it zombie, you'd call it a walker or biter, like they do in the TWD world.

If you've watched any zombie film they never use the word zombie. Sean of the dead actually makes a joke about it.

A trailer that gives away 90% of what is going to be happening.

Or the Glasgow version, "The Walking Dead in Batter".

"welcome tae oor safehoose, but I need tae ask yez some questions afore yez can get in, ok?"
"Aye, bash oan, laud."
"Question wan; how many deed folk have yez killed?"
"Aboot fifty or sixty"
"Question two; how many no-deed folk have yez killed?"
"Four."
"Question three; what fitba team dae yez support?"

Just finished season 5 and I quite liked it, Rick is still by far my favorite character.

When does the next season start? Not that I've particularly enjoyed the show for a good while now

October 11th. Feat the Walking Dead is airing now and finishes the week before the Walking Dead starts.

I know I'm going to complain loads again but I actually missed this. Second half of last season was the best it's been in ages so I'm quite optimistic. Bring it on.
