Television The Walking Dead

That was a bit silly wasn't it. Perhaps there's a band of ninjas in a remote mountain village that he hooked up with for a while. Then we can have a spinoff series called Ninjas vs Zombies

:p

Also, who's Carver? @Tarrou

Pattinson would not be a miscast for an unhinged psycho like I'm expecting all the Wolves to be, actually. He already looks like a malnourished survivor of a zombie apocalypse from what I've seen of him.

It's Gabriel. Sorry, still using his name from The Wire :)

Just caught up with the entire second half of Season 5. Load of shit for the most part, but the last two episodes were intense. The last 20 minutes of the last episode in particular was great, reminded me of the intensity of how season 5 started. I genuinely thought at one point it would end with Glen walking through the gates and into the meeting as a zombie.

Otherwise the whole second half of the season 5 just felt like a build up to season 6. In fact, it was so uneventful at times it may as well have just been an episode of Coronation Street.

Perhaps it should have done seeing as we were given no explanation as to how he escaped with 3 zombies on top of him.

Laughable how they just brushed over that with a commercials break.

I just thought about that episode with the big storms when they were shut in a barn. They missed a great opportunity for a Zombienado.

They had that in another zombie program that occurs on Sci fi which I will not mention even though its not really a spoiler and I dont think anybody else watches.

Just caught up with the final episodes of this season. I really enjoyed that. Still plenty of ridiculous moments but a lot of tension, love it. And I guess there are valuable life lessons to be learnt as well, such as don't enter the private atmosphere of a drunk, raging madman with a sword who's out to kill someone.

Special mention to Abraham. His speech about a vast ocean of shit brought a tear to my eye. Mother dick, what a hero.

I watched it  'Twas much more lighthearted I though, some of the zombie kill methods were clearly just for a laugh....electric food whisk to the face was a personal favourite.

Rick, michonne, daryl and carol are all I'm bothered about now, I couldn't give a toss about the rest tbh.

Same here, though I do like Glenn and the big Ginger. However all the rest, especially the Priest, can have their gizzards eaten for all I care.

Not true. :nono:

I could hardly see his eyes in that last episode, and we all know how big anime eyes are.

I've had this in my head since I read some article on Cracked. Plus, aren't muscles an important part that determines how we move? Given the state of some of the walkers out there, it's a miracle they're able to lift their hands up at all.

Which is why even though it was a disappointment, World War Z's depiction of how the outbreak went down is way more believable. Can't imagine Walking Dead's walkers overwhelming the army to be honest.

I'd like a zombie story where freshly turned zombies are fast raging psychos who then decompose to the point where they turn into more regular slow shambling zombies.

Realistically, yes. But this aint realistic.

You would have noticed how easy it is to kill the damn things, and how mushy their skulls/heads are. In the show they barely have to touch their heads and they'll explode, however in real life the skull wouldn't be anywhere near as mushy.

I hope its not an April Fools joke tbh.

I could see him playing one of the 'wolves.'

On this, who are they exactly? Is there meant to be more than two of them, because if not, they really don't pose a threat.

What's their deal though - are they supposed to be killcrazy or something?

Yeah. It's like skulls are made of styrofoam or something.

Finally started watching this, almost finished the first season, this is quality !
First season is okay but the second season is where it's at and what makes The Walking Dead what it is. Hellooooooo

:lol:He's right. Make sure you stick through it 'til the end.

Just finished all 5 seasons in about 5 weeks, was bloody brilliant, felt it got a little boring at times especially in the prison but all around solid,

I feel both happy and sad, happy I get more of my time back and sad that I won't be seeing rick grimes for a while.

It's more good than it is bad but the third series in the prison was infinitely better than the dirge at the farm.

I'm sure if you watch it all at once it's a lot better... Not enough happens in the episodes between season 1 and 5 really where it keeps you really looking forward to the next week, if you only watch one a week. Moves very slowly. Watching them all in one go is probably better for all shows but probably makes a huge difference here, where they could cut every season in half without losing any details but increasing the quality overall.

I think this is a show for binge watching as you dont dwell on the amount of crap that doesnt happen and remember the stuff the little stuff that does here and there. It really should be shorter seasons, less episodes. I felt Season 1 benefited a lot from that.

Not sure if you really wanted an answer to this or not  PM me if you do. Don't want to put it in here in case others don't.
