Glad those made me laugh because this has just made me feel sick.

Ugh, I hate him, I really do. Why ask the public which agency they would get rid of? Especially when I bet the majority of the public don't really know what they do. So what if say the National Park Service got the highest votes? Would Trump then remove it and say it was by public demand? The sheer fact I have to ask that question should show how absurd and how fecking dangerous his Presidency is.

It's really weird seeing Germany described as the leader of the free world and China as the leader on tackling climate change.

Aye, India going all-in on climate change as well. Seeing them gradually align with the EU will only decrease US influence I'd imagine.

Its actually a bit odd how Pence's public profile has diminished in recent weeks. Seems like he may be a bit put off by all the drama - or else Drumpf has consciously put him on ice.

Knowing Bannon and Trump's mindset they may be thinking Pence is actively working against Trump, possibly leaking inside info amongst other things.

So is what Juncker said true? They can't just up and get out of the agreement?

I mean they can still feck things up for another three years which'll probably contribute to irreparable damage to the planet but assuming that they don't stay in power in 2020 it might not be so bad?

Naturally one turns to Fox News comments sections at this point. It staggers me the amount of sheer fecking idiots in that country who believe it's all made up purely to hurt America.

The planet is more than just America you twats.

I like the idea but the word revenge used by the writer sounds a bit childish. I'd guess this is not a quote but to make a catchy headline.

The latter was pretty obvious if you look at how bad the sitution is in China.

The former is nothing but bitterly and sadly ironic if you consider that the US were crucial in liberating Nazi Germany and in deeply implanting their idea of democracy into our thinking.

The most obvious is missing: Germany! For the tremendous amount of ca. 3% US car market share. VERY BAD, this is going to STOP ONCE AND FOR ALL! #MAGA

Not sure how reliable Seth Abramson is, but I do recall reading various Tweet chains he's done in the past about the meeting at the Mayflower Hotel.

Pretty sure Mick Mulvaney is the biggest charlatan in the cabinet. A pseudo-intellectual tea party budget hawk who struggles with basic math.

I don't know if this is the latest version of the Paris Agreement (go to the Annex from page 21 onwards) http://unfccc.int/resource/docs/2015/cop21/eng/l09r01.pdf .

If it is, it seems to me that it is a legally binding contract without any real possibility to enforce it is adhered to and can be withdrawn from as early as 3 years after it came into force in the respective country:

Article 28

1. At any time after three years from the date on which this Agreement has entered into force for a Party, that Party may withdraw from this Agreement by giving written notification to the Depositary.

2. Any such withdrawal shall take effect upon expiry of one year from the date of receipt by the Depositary of the notification of withdrawal, or on such later date as may be specified in the notification of withdrawal.

3. Any Party that withdraws from the Convention shall be considered as also having withdrawn from this Agreement.

Cheesy as fcuk but still... Burn.

Yeah as I said, it's not a great joke but that real doesn't matter. It's basically just her going "Hey, Donald, LOL" and you know how much that is going to hurt him.

China of all countries moving in to fill the vacuum Trump will leave behind due to him pulling out of the climate agreement.

So he works for the Russians and now Chinese?

I remember a time (maybe still) in sci-fi and general future predictions where people were predicting asia as the new dominant power. It would be ironic if it's the US that sets that all into motion under the guise of 'MAGA':lol::lol:

So both China and Russia seem to support the climate agreement.
Wake up you big baby.
