So far he is telling them to not do anything violent, of course not everyone will listen and there will be multiple events . However what we are discussing here , is the possibility of a government action through an order, which is just unlikely.
If he goes on TV prime time and says "everyone who is for me grab a gun and start shooting democrats" then undoubtedly hell would break loose. He has ways to feck things up, if he so wishes , but this particular episode seems just food for the qnuts.

In fairness, people like that spent the whole presidency saying whatever the latest controversy was would be the thing to finally take him down and nothing ever did. Only two weeks before the end did he finally he manage to push it too far.
