Those league commissioners from sports are all under the direction of state health laws/rules. For example, UFC 249 was supposed to be held this past week or this week, but it got shut down by the Governor of CA, who called Disney, the broadcast parent of ESPN who was going to stream the fights in America and pretty much said stop, no way.

That's all fine and dandy to include those sports league commissioners, however they are deferring to state health officials which is where their teams play. To that, players unions of American sports leagues will not rush into anything that jeopardizes their health, family's health, and compromises the safety of others who allow them to play such as team staff members, trainers, team doctors, broadcast teams, etc.

It was because it was technically American Indian land. It wasn't state land. I'm as Anti- how the USA is run as anybody else, but let's be fair. There are clear laws about Native American Indian land.

Even then, just shows that there are loopholes to many things. Probably would have helped the Indian reservation/land economically and give them a platform to voice their hardships.

I give credit to Dana for thinking outside the box on this one and for stepping down when asked to do so and not showing his frustration and disappointment publicly.

I think this is going to backfire pretty badly for him. If it comes as a federal hand out, banks can withhold that money to service any debt like an outstanding student loan, business loan, child support payment or pending mortgage payment and people who need the cash to buy essentials might not even get it.

Tbh the XFL was good this time around, just so haplened it got halted due to the pandemic, i don't think its failure was due to game itself, by all accounts many NFL lovers all were vastly impressed by it.
 
On the WHO funding I think this is just a case of him grabbing a headline but not actually being able to do it. His supporters never read the fine print so they'll think he's actually doing what he claims.

Well, he might actually be listening to these people and think they have a valid opinion. And some of them are more likely to have a better idea about what to do than some of the other people influencing him. Unlikely that it will be worse than it already is.

His whataboutism or plain disregard and flippant ignorance regarding the abandonment and subsequent slaughter of the Kurds is one of the most distasteful things I have read on here for a while. Although not quite shit sandwich level, but not too far from it.

Did you have the same response for the half a million Syrians and countless millions refuge ed all over the world, that was not Trumps doing but I hope you screamed blue murder at the atrocities that the Syrian government has handed out on the good people of Syrian oh and lets not forget Libya. I'm pretty sure everyone knew that campaign funding and favours were linked but I doubt it was ever this transparent (wrestling is essential in the midst of a pandemic?).

He may as well sit at a desk with a sign saying "political favours for sale" and let people queue up with bags of cash.... in the middle of a press conference.
