Pretty sure attorney client priviledge doesn't excuse you from a subpoena, and that he has no official white house role that would enable him to claim executive privilege.

So what he's doing is called a federal crime. I hope they arrest the senile f'cktard.

As if that's gonna happen

Calling it Faux news is a bit on the level of Failing NY Times and Amazon Washington post innit.

Ooh an American news organization with a particular political bias one way or another. Stop the presses!

Project Veritas is a shithouse of no value or credit:

It was founded in 2010 by James O'Keefe.[11]

The organization has produced deceptively edited videos targeted against ACORN, NPR and others.[12][13][14] During the 2016 campaign, the organization falsely claimed to have shown that the Hillary Clinton accepted illegal donations from foreign sources.[15]

O'Keefe was sued for defamation by a man he wrongfully depicted as a "willing participant in an underage sex-trafficking scheme"; the suit led to a settlement in 2013, in which O'Keefe issued an apology and paid $100,000.[16]

In 2017, it was caught in a failed attempt to trick the The Washington Post into posting a fabricated story about Roy Moore.[3][17][18][2] Rather than uncritically publish a story that accused Republican candidate Moore of impregnating a teenager, The Washington Post critically examined the story that they were presented with, checked the source, assessed her credibility and ultimately found that there was no merit to her claims, and that instead Project Veritas were trying to dupe The Washington Post.[10]

O'Keefe has been barred from fundraising for Project Veritas in Florida and other states because of his federal criminal record for entering a federal building under fraudulent pretenses.[19][20]

Just to understand, as I don't know anything about US law, but is not complying with a subpoena issued by the House the same as not complying with a subpoena issued by a court? Same penalty?

Yeah but they'll likely indict him based on what his Ukrainians bozo clients offer the feds and then in turn offer him some terms if he agrees to cooperate against Trump.

No. Congress used to issue punishments directly called ‘inherent contempt’ but the last time it was done was 1934. Since then they’ve relied on federal law enforcement precedures, which is a problem given that they’re currently controlled by Trump cronies.

BBC said:
Harry Dunn's parents have rejected the chance to meet the suspect in their son's crash death after Donald Trump dropped the "bombshell" that she was in the room next door at the White House.

Charlotte Charles and Tim Dunn felt "a little ambushed" by the offer made by the US president.

He's such a cnut, trying to ambush them with the woman waiting in the next room. Apparently there were reporters waiting too.

You just know his end game was to get a photo with both sets of parents and then tell the world how he reconciled four good people.

It's so depressing that the President of the United States would not be out of place as one of the profiles on Mindhunter. He's a genuine, full blown psychopath. If a psychologist was able to study him for a decade, I think the report would be absolutely terrifying.

Rename it Celebrity Mindhunter and Trump would agree to an interview.

He’s a crook.

I’ve been watching Breaking Bad again recently leading up to El Camino (which I haven’t watched yet so please don’t spoil it for me).
Intelligence aside, I’m drawing comparisons between Trump and Walt.

He had everything he could ever dream of, but it’s never enough because his ego demands more and he doesn’t care who he fecks up to get it.

Los Pollos Hermanos (Republican Party) had a good thing going, they ran a tight ship, they are all corrupt but it was done in a water tight way that never drew enough attention to motivate anyone enough to do anything about it.

Then Trump rolls in and he’s sloppy and he’s greedy. He draws others into his game and draws the attention onto the corruption of the rest of the party and all of a sudden, it’s out in the open and people actually give a shit about exposing it and bringing in ways to eliminate the corruption.

He could very easily bring the Republican Party to its knees and destroy it from within.

Lindsey Graham is Mike Ermentraut. He could see it from the beginning and warned the entire party about him. Yet despite his supposed best judgements, he worked alongside him for personal gain anyway and fingers crossed he ends up just as sorry.
