I havent really noticed in years gone by but isit normal when say Trump does his veto or emergency order that the President is surrounded by a bunch of cheerleaders? in his veto yesterday the unbelievable amount of ass licking was cringeworthy to say the least, have past presidents done this?

Nope, this is truly a cult of hate and the Republican party is rotten to the core. It has screwed up everyone of us but the silver lining is that the people that voted for him are getting screwed the most.
These fools thought the trumps were geniuses and they licked up the shit he was dropping. The reality is so much different, ask anyone of note in Manhattan they will tell you this guy and his vice children were just a fecking scam. I hope the voters in Wisconsin/Michigan/Ohio/Pennsylvania are happy that he is bragging about an insignificant wall being built that isn't really being built. Little do they know is that he is fecking them over in so many ways.

I think the senate is voting on it on the 26th(?). Currently there’s 12 Republicans voting against Trump so it should be blocked but who knows with these people. They will probably fall in line once McConnell has whipped them in line.
 
Could it be a stunt in the first place? As in the Republicans vote in a divided fashion, so Trump can swing his tiny mushroom knob, which will look good to his deplorables. Then once it's vetoed they will fall in to line.

They don’t have the votes to overturn the veto. It probably will succeed once the declaration works its way through the courts as well, though that is less clear.
