"Jack the Ripper? Well, he strongly denies it all. It coulda bin anyone...even Toulouse-Lautrec or ET. "

It's still global warming, though. I think this probably has more to do with his inability to understand the difference between climate and weather than the word itself.
But the problem with ‘global warming’ is that, the idiots think because you get colder winters nowadays, it’s all fine.

What a colossally embarrassing cnut.

He pines for shit that is virtually antiquated like coal.

He probably will be pushing for steam engine-driven paddle boats to take over transporting material in our rivers next.

He just knows what works best in the Mad Max style dystopian future he has planned for us all.

It would have been worded differently under previous administrations but the outcome would have been the same. No US president would break the Saudi alliance over the murder of a journalist.

Germany stopped any weapon deliveries to Saudi Arabia because of this - even the ones that already were approved by the parliament. They were already questioned before - but that finally hit it.

How did other countries react?

Well, it's cold elsewhere in the world, so obviously Global Warming is Fake News. If Global Warming was real, there would be bigly volcanoes erupting in California instead of just some fires you can rake away.

I don't know, but I doubt in any way that will have a real impact on Saudi behaviour. The only country that can truly hope to make an impact there is the US, but given the length, depth and significance of the alliance, it'll take a lot more than the murder of a journalist or a different character in the White House to change things. Let's face it, this murder is far from the worst thing the Saudis have done over the course of the alliance with the US. And the US has other allies that have done worse things. The US itself has done much worse things. The problem with this murder was not the act itself, but the stupidity of doing it on Turkish soil and getting caught, allowing a cunning manipulator like Erdogan to milk it for all it's worth, and some of Trump's domestic opponents to claim a moral high ground they have no business occupying.

Agree.

At least it worked for Suadi Arabia to step down in his force of power like when they punished Canada. They will not do the same to Germany or other countries. At least now they are maintaining a low profile what is always good for the world as they have been emboldened by all the good articles on the crown prince. Probably that that cocky and untouchable attitude of the last years made them make that mistake. It will give a small break to the Yemen people also

Any word from him about the anniversary of JFK's death?

The mark of a true narcissist is this: they even strain after posterity. He's desperate for his presidency to be viewed as historic, by any tenuous means.

Feckin hell folks, that video of Trump on the phone I posted earlier is a new level of dumb. It's so deeply, deeply The Office level of embarrassing.
"I'm actually happy about that answer, because at least, uh, you know they're doing what they're doing, but that's actually a very good answer"

He's a tragically embarrassing cretin.

In all fairness, he already achieved that goal...

Rick Anderson @RickAnderson

President Trump sort-of apologizes for not visiting Arlington Cemetery on Veteran’s Day: “I probably, you know, in retrospect I should have and I did last year and I will virtually every year.” Fact-check: He did not go last year either.
