Yes, I remember reading that it mutated from an internal GOP opposition-research thing to Hillary's operation.
I don’t think people realise how significant this is. While the GOP try to pin this on the Hillary campaign, it makes it very difficult to sling shit and call for investigations and charges when members of their own party started it.
We knew this to be the case but just didn't know who the GOP entity that commissioned it was. Now we do.

The new one takes place in an alternate timeline where the nazis conquered the world, including America. The story is set in the USA, where the mission is inspire the populace to rebel and rid America of nazis, all while killing massive amounts of nazis (and some klansmen, for good measure). This has been paired with a brilliant, and extremely anti-nazi promotional campaign. The alt-right have not taken kindly to it.
So some 135lb, hot pockets eating, living in his parent's house, 25 year old gamer is going to confront me/you/anyone in public... that won't end well for gamer boy. I'm certainly no brawler or Rambo badass but I can handle my own. And I figure that goes for most people in general against gamer boy.
