The Transfer Deadline Day Thread / Most crazy ever?

I think I speak for everyone when I say the best possible result would be for someone to shoot down Jim White's chopper with a surface-to-air missile.

feck Fellaini and Herrera, yo.

I don't think i'll be able to take being on the caf tomorrow. Having nightmares of Baines and Fellaini leaving and us being rejected for our potential targets. It will be exciting, but a shit scary deadline day too.

So tomorrow we are getting ozil and coentrao or just Ronaldo?
Looks like Fellaini for £26M and Everton will probably sell Baines for around £32M so that's my guess. £58M spent tomorrow on them.

You'll be asking about 45-50m for your pair, while trying to steal McMananaman and McCarthy for £10m combined

I'M WAKING UP AT 6AM TO WATCH TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY ALL THE WAY THROUGH. feck YES

I'm planning get up early to prepare for my work placement presentation at 11.30. Then it's off to the pub for the day, where I'll shout at the screen in a rage.

Sky Sports News are finally going to get the transfer deadline day they've being praying for since the Berbatov transfer, aren't they?

Their pundit at Old Trafford might actually have something to do this year.

James Cooper is the Manchester reporter on SSN, right? He will be more busy at Old Trafford this year than at the blue side.

remember years back when the March/April transfer deadline day used to have loads of deals.

Then for years it all went very quiet.

Well tomorrow promises to be an old school world of fun!

I don't think we'll do a big signing but I don't care since we just fecked Spurs over.

Seething over today's performance. Too much focus on transfers have caused the club to take the eye of the ball, we should concentrate on our squad and stop looking at doing panic buys.

Hope we plan for next week's game tomorrow instead of throwing random bids.

Do you really think Moyes is that involved in negotiations? He will suggest players and then leave it up to Woodward and others. We played badly because we played badly, it's not because Moyes was up all night checking out every midfielders stats on FM. Surely if today showed us anything it's that we could really do with getting one or two in tomorrow and, if we do, they may not be our first preferences but they won't be panic signings either. How much focus could have been distracted from the current team given we've signed no one?

Lets hope we manage that and a new LB and Striker. Cheeky bid for Rhodes would be nice.

As Moyes said he doesn't talk about other teams players, maybe he hasn't actually told Ed who he wants.

I have so little interest or faith of what we do tomorrow, such is the piss poor handling of dealings this summer. If we get Baines I just simply won't be happy, Fellaini would be good. Ozil is the only realistic signing we could do that would make me forget this entire summer of disappointment.

The longer this window has gone on, the less likely it has looked that we would do anything. Seem like it is inevitable we will not sign another CM despite needing a couple. :(

I would genuinely cry if Arsenal signed Ozil and Di Maria and we ended up with Fellaini and Baines. We just have to pay the release clause for Herrera.

My mum just said she is now glad she will be at the hospital tomorrow as it will prevent her throwing something through the TV.

Left back is the least of our worries since AW fecked up royally with Santos and overcompensated with Mono when we already had Gibbs..

did seem an odd move, however injury prone Gibbs has historically been

It'd be pretty surprising if we didn't sign Fellaini to be honest.

But anything on top of him seems unlikely.

I don't see how Fellaini would have improved either today or the Chelsea game.

Except for an outlet to punt some high balls in in the last 5mins.

Except I doubt we can even punt the ball in properly at the moment.

I'm at work until 5pm tomorrow. After that I might just go to the cinema and let deadline day pass me by.

That way I don't sit watching the TV, building myself up, only to burst into tears when we sign Lee Cattermole.

Bloody hell, don't give them ideas.
