Could have said that soonerSorry Chester - that needs to be clearer. If you have failed both of your picks - you can choose another shootout from the same WC. I'll update the post above.

Means we can pick from Arg v Eng aswell. The instructions for this round are:
- Choose a World Cup penalty shoot out.
- Choose one player who scored a penalty and one player who missed a penalty.
- If either or both of your players are blocked, you are locked to the same World Cup and any other penalty shoot outs that took place in that tournament.
Think you should be given new picks. So misleadingWhat? It looks like the exact opposite from what was posted above. I just sent in a pick based on the assumption you had to remain in the same shootout.

Ye, he'll get to repick no doubt. If he wants to ofc.Think you should be given new picks. So misleading
I asked the same question on last page. we'll have a free pick on missed and locked on scored in 98.There is no way we'll block all players pick 2, is it?
What happens if we pick all players that missed but there are still players left to pick that scored? Are we still locked to 98? That would mean we could get a pass on a scorer but then obv get a sheep with pick 3.
Surely not?
Only once there are no eligible picks left will you have an opportunity to choose from another tournament.
It was laid out in the OP fairly clearly.Could have said that sooner
Statistically, given the number of options and only 2 rounds left - nada.So there is no way for people stuck in 1998 to jump to other WC tournaments is there?
Pick again then. What? It looks like the exact opposite from what was posted above. I just sent in a pick based on the assumption you had to remain in the same shootout.
5 players and 11 managers. I wonder what will happen next. Will there be a collective shafting or some vague attempt at working as a team to get a missed pick from another tourney in the 3rd round? So there is no way for people stuck in 1998 to jump to other WC tournaments is there?
Why? There are only 4 players left who missed the penos ,right? Block them all and we get a free pool this roundSo there is no way for people stuck in 1998 to jump to other WC tournaments is there?
Free pool only on missed. We can't possibly get all scorers blocked. Why? There are only 4 players left who missed the penos ,right? Block them all and we get a free pool this round
But then you said it differently. People panick when sheep jumps onto themIt was laid out in the OP fairly clearly.
Cheers.I asked the same question on last page. we'll have a free pick on missed and locked on scored in 98.
Surely coordination by PM is not allowed?5 players and 11 managers. I wonder what will happen next. Will there be a collective shafting or some vague attempt at working as a team to get a missed pick from another tourney in the 3rd round?
Could be worse...you could all be stuck with the Greece v Costa Rica shootout from 2014...Submitted. Let's at least get it down fast.
Not that we have a lot of options here...
Absolutely not - no collusion allowed.Surely coordination by PM is not allowed?
Pick again then.
Yeah, same here. It's really impossible to do the "theme" thing in a sheep draft. I tried for a few rounds, but it's pretty much impossible, I reckon. Just trying to avoid sheep now, really, but even that isn't something you can do actively in this round without taking the piss. Down to luck now, pretty much.
Sorry Chester - that needs to be clearer. If you have failed both of your picks - you can choose another shootout from the same WC. I'll update the post above.
Looks like we went down the exact same path in that regard alas. 6 rounds of good drafting down the shitter for both of us!
Tell em Pav !
