Probably. I don't think there was any video and without it I don't think 1 picture is enough to give the proper context to give a ban.
Very lucky boy then. Didn't Dembele get 6 matches for his?

Clinton N'jie going the other way (on loan) in the Nkoudou deal? Would have thought Spurs would only be looking to add to the squad.

Marseille needed another attacking option so it appears the deal was contingent apon Njie going the other way.

Personally as a Spurs fan it is odd. Njie was injured most of last year so we didn't see much of him and we're already shipping him out. Even though when we bought him we knew he'd be raw and need developing. It's just weird. I guess we must really rate Nkodou.

Can any spurs fan on here list the full ins and outs for them in this window? Transfer deadline day doesn't half mess with your mind.

Bit of an average window really.

It is certainly uncommon that a club actually cuts down the number of squad options when moving from EL to CL. I think they mostly lack quality cover for the offensive midfield. Sissoko won´t be the answer for that, of that I´m pretty certain.

In general, the Spurs could have done well with one or two new players who have substantial experience in the CL. They really lack that, especially as long as Lloris is out. This could really hurt them there, which might very well affect the whole season.

I think there's an under-estimation of the degree to which Spurs are putting their faith in promotions from our academy / youth players to fill our squad options. Whether this faith will be justified remains to be seen this season, but it's served us well in recent times.

Mason out = more chances for Harry Winks. Fazio out = more chances for Carter-Vickers. Chadli out means more chances for Marcus Edwards. Each of these three are very highly-rated within the club.

And then of course we've brought in Wanyama, Janssen and N'Koudou, so overall I'm not sure that our squad options have been cut, even though the latter is a replacement for N'Jie.

You're right about lack of CL experience, but then we reached the QFs last time with a squad that had very little CL experience ... so who knows how far we can go this time.

Re. Lloris, Poch said a few days ago that he's close to a return.

All of those youngster may be highly rated and they may even develop into quality first team or squad players for Tottenham, but depending on them to provide quality depth with the hopes of making top 4 is tough to see. It's possible though that Levy and the club are comfortable with that possibility though as they have to finance the stadium and could also be keeping money in the bank for potential renegotiations for the club's top players in the future.

Personally think they could have used another attacker for the front 3 and a box-to-box player to provide another option if/when Dembele sits or is hurt.

Sissoko was about to sign for everton and Spurs somehow found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by blowing 30m on him at the last second!

Dreadful signing

Sissoko at 30m makes pretty much every other signing this window look a bargain

Wow what a crazy window for us - if the rumours are to be believed we agreed fee and terms with Isco but he decided he didn't want to come and that was that - gutted.

As for Sissoko - I'm happy with him, I think he is the type of player we didn't have in the squad and is the kind of player Poch will love, powerful and direct. The fee is ridiculous of course and he is not worth £30 million but I guess the financial landscape has changed dramatically this season. He needs to be more consistent and I trust Poch to get the best out of him. N'Koudou should offer us pace in the final third which we badly needed. All in all I'm very happy with our transfer window.

Not important but Erik Thorstvedt said earlier that he was disappointed they hadn't strenghtened their starting 11.

Sissoko and N'Koudou (assuming we do sign Sissoko)

Despite how shite he is feel for Everton as he'd of been a marque player for them. Levy really is a cnut, trying to dry those tears from when Chelsea stole Willian from them

IN: Janssen, N'Koudou, Pau Lopez, Wanyama and probably Sissoko
OUT: Mason, Chadli, Bentaleb (loan) and Njie (loan)

I think thats it

I posted this before Tottenham matched Everton's offer and he took it. Even then I find buying Sissoko a big gamble and one that should have been sorted earlier if they wanted him. He definitely has the talent to be a quality player, but not sure the consistent desire is there.

I still feel they could use an attacker in addition to N'Koudou thought he apparently impressed last season.

We also sold some youth players like Grant Ward (who I hear is doing very well), Alex Pritchard, and Dominic Ball to Championship clubs.

Edit: also sold Yedlin to Newcastle.

I'm willing to bet the Sissoko deal isn't a flat out 30mil and instead has us letting go some of the payments NUFC would have still owed us for Townsend and Yedlin.

@GlastonSpur
What do you think of your new signings then? Wanyama, maybe Sissoko, Janssen and that other guy are decent signings but do you reckon they're good enough? Thought I would ask you some real questions rather than insult you/Spurs, with seems to be the common theme.

Looks like that is Dier out of the team when everyone is fit then.

I think there will be a lot of rotation in the DM position between him and Wanyama plus he can play right back or central defense if required so he will get plenty of games.
