Gaming The SM RedCafe League

He's played 90 minutes in the league just three times in 24 games. In all of the other competitions Simeone hasn't trusted him to play all 90 minutes at all.

Yeah, wasn't as bad as I first thought. Did same with assists  Bit surprised with the number of bookings actually, thought there'd be more than the two.

Here's who are left to play:
  • James McCarthy for Everton (24/89)
  • John Stones for Everton (20/86)
  • Christian Eriksen for Tottenham Hotspur (23/91)
  • Ben Davies for Tottenham Hotspur (21/87) - most likely on bench
  • Eric Dier for Tottenham Hotspur (21/85)
  • Sergio Ramos for Real Madrid (28/95)
  • Alarcon Isco for Real Madrid (22/91)
  • Gareth Bale for Real Madrid (25/94)
  • Almeida Abner for Real Madrid (18/75) - won't be in their squad as (a) he's a Castilla player and (b) he's injured right now
  • Lucas Silva for Real Madrid (22/87) - most likely on bench
  • Alexandre Lacazette for Lyon (23/90)
  • Ricardo Rodriguez for Wolfsburg (22/90)
  • Tonny Vilhena for Feyenoord (20/86) - most likely on bench
  • Memphis Depay for PSV (21/89)
  • Karim Rekik for PSV (20/85) - I think he's injured
  • Stipe Perica for Udinese (19/82) - most likely on bench
  • Juan Iturbe for Roma (21/87) - Injured
  • Richairo Zivkovic for Ajax (18/83) - Can't see him playing
  • Carlos Strandberg for CSKA Moscow (18/80) - CSKA don't play games for a while and doubt he'll feature anyway

Depay, Dier starting...
Eriksen, Davies, Zivkovic on the bench...
Rekik injured still

For me... Sanson is the only player who's played so far today, he's starting for Montpellier. Rest to be confirmed.

Yes! Lucas Silva starts again. Thank you for being injured Rodriguez and Modric!

 I remember it was me and you bidding for him. Bit gutted I missed out on him tbh but ah well.

Eric Bailly got injured for Villarreal and has just come off on his debut. Annoyingly he seemed to recover from his injury but was replaced anyway.

Vietto comes on for the final 20mins after being rested and has just scored via a terrible goalkeeping error.

Look at my match. I hate this match engine so much.

Ouch

Nasri chose the perfect time to pick up a suspension. Misses the cup game against Burnley (which he was going to do anyway) and will be back for the next league game :) 8 consecutive wins in all comps and top of the table. It'll go tits up at some point guaranteed.

Not bad, I dick you a bit on players with 90mins though! Jealous of Hassen though, you did well on that player. /shakes fist

Fingers crossed... that was fun times when we were negotiating over which players we should go for. I'd like to see him keep a few more clean sheets, but 8 in 23 league apps and 26 goals conceded ain't too bad considering his age.

Last season Ospina conceded 25 goals in 29 league apps, keeping 13 clean sheets

I honestly have no idea which young players I came out with during that negotiation but I think i've probably sold em all!

Thanks! They've got marginally better CS/A but so far Hassen's GC/A is better. Nice still have to play most of the teams above them including both PSG and Lyon so his goals conceded per app stat will probably end up around the same as those two... depends really

Didn't realise Valdes was so dirty when starting off at Barcelona

Aye, surprising! I didn't know he had a dark streak in him early on.

The annoying thing about Scuffet is that his "replacement" Karnezis has the following stats:

23 Apps, 31 GC, 5 CS.
GC/A = 1.35
CS/A = 0.22

Pretty much identical Goals Conceded Ratio but a fair bit lower Clean Sheet ratio to Scuffets stats last season. Yet Scuffet is "protected", it's utterly bizarre.

After Scuffet's great debut season they really should have trusted him this season too. Interesting that Atletico almost bought him though he'd probably have been playing the "Oblak role" this season there anyway if he had moved.

It's just the usual Serie A way. Ignore your kids and bring in an older player then they wonder why their National Team is shit. He should get the hell out of the Italian league if he wants to develop as he's still got a decent reputation from his work last season.
