Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Got a fairly laughable offer from someone there. so gonna help people out. I sold Inigo Martinez for 18m....

I think this as a FFP works great, fair for everyone with clear understanding of how it was worked out. If you guys could let me know if you would prefer Cap Option 1 or Cap Option 2.

This spreadsheet was used to calculate how Soccermanager calculates each clubs income. They base the income on your clubs attendance for every home game and then use multipliers for a few different variables like gate receipts, sponsors, merchandise etc. Each division has different multipliers (although the majority of the income comes from TV Revenue)

What I've done is taken these multipliers and apply them to every club to calculate each clubs maximum income potential. This then forms a table as shown in the image below. Using the Division Cap Table we can then balance it further giving those in lower divisions a further advantage.

Stadium capacity are sometimes increased at the start of a new season (when you get your season ticket money). So i'll check each clubs stadium capacity again on that day and update the table.

Example:
The colour represent the additional cap that gets added on to your total. So Leeds colour is orange, which means he's in Div2 and will get a + 2. So that brings up his total to 53 using Option 1.

 I would be happy with either. Option 2 makes the game harder for all of us, Option 1 makes it easier.

Using the Green Goblin and Southend as an example, with option 1 is he allowed 66 players? and with option 2 60 players?

If he sells me a certain player, I will vote for 1 so he can buy a few more ;)

Southend is on 58, he's currently in Div4 so get's a +6. So he'd be on 64 with option 1 and 58 with Option 2.

However he's been promoted to Div3 for next season, so he'll only get a +4. Therefore 62/56.

On my phone so I'm probably missing it, where is the calculation for the max possible income?

Option 1 isn't about making it easy really as it doesn't account fairly for risers.

One would have to suck at buying an timing the sale to make only 2mil off a riser especially given the ones doing the quick buy/sell are likely to be lower clubs who'll make more from these players.

In the spreadsheet in the explanation spoiler.

It's your stadium capacity * 19. That gives your max attendance for the season. Then you multiply that by Div 1 multipliers.

Example:
Arsenal Capacity: 60,362 = 1,146,878

Ticket: £20.80 * 1,146,878 = £23,855,062
Merch: £2.60 * 1,146,878 = £2,981,883
Sponsor: £7.80 * 1,146,878 = £8,945,648
TV: £912,304 * 19 = £17,333,776

Total: £53,116,370

Ground Maintenance: £5.20 * 1,146,878 = £5,963,766

Final Total: £53,116,370 - £5,963,766 = £47,152,604

Rounded down to 47m

If you look at this SM Season I've had 15 risers. The issue is because of the length of a SM Season, 1 of the 3 SM Seasons will be when there is no player review (this season we had the very end of the La Liga Summer review, which was the last league in the top leagues for summer).

Edit: I tell a lie, just noticed Berahino was rated, so Premier League was last. Ignore the last paragraph.

Cheers. Didn't even notice the spoiler on the phone the 1st time and when I did, it was murdering my eyes looking at the spreadsheet on the phone.

Put me down for the 2nd option too. I'd actually take option 1 off the table tbh, it isn't sound for the reason I mentioned. Will hive an unfair advantage to lower clubs.

Option 2 please. I am more than happy with my allocation and agree the less players the bigger clubs can have will only aid us smaller clubs. I would suggest that LitterBug be limited to a squad of 12 though.
