Ben does have a point actually. I didn't look at the finances spreadsheet before doing this revised FFP.
If each club in Div 1 maxed out their stadiums for every home game then this would be the results:
Manchester United - £92,631,232
Arsenal - £76,971,432
Newcastle United - £69,092,132
Sunderland - £65,745,776
Manchester City - £64,487,064
Liverpool - £62,309,512
Aston Villa - £59,608,320
Chelsea - £58,884,116
Everton - £57,415,948
Tottenham Hotspur - £53,208,056
West Ham United - £52,553,012
Southampton - £49,630,508
Wolverhampton Wanderers - £48,653,376
Blackburn Rovers - £48,324,372
Nottingham Forest - £47,568,552
Milton Keynes Dons - £47,467,776
Stoke City - £45,377,168
Fulham - £43,614,576
Darlington - £42,464,544
Queens Park Rangers - £42,326,224
So Barney with Liverpool would have 48 players under the new scheme but would earn a possible £14,740,960 more than the clubs with 50 players (30k stadiums). That seems a bit off actually :/
This is why I asked how you have decided the incremental cap as you go down the list. 1 extra squad space is worth about 2mil for a very impatient manager. You should take 1 extra cap to be worth about 4mil imo so as to keep a balance between very short term purchases and long term buys. 2 reviews will make that much money if the player is right.
