Gaming The SM RedCafe League

If he doesn't like it he can go revolution some where else

I probably will if nothing changes but others will probably follow as it can't be much fun not being able to buy anyone ever because considering you're saying the match engine is random and shit without transfers there's nothing left in the game.

@LitterBug

I have one of the smallest first teams in the entire division (89+ rated players). I said many times that I would sell Ayew at the end of the season, Jovetic simply isn't for sale as he's doing fine at Inter now. I am not going to weaken myself by selling first team players am I? I've sold plenty of 89-86 rated players though, but you don't ever go for those players so that's your fault not mine. :)

Eriksen has played 9 games, 7 as sub out of 30+ that you've played.

Bullshit.

Eriksen had a red card ruling him out of three games. He also had a groin injury ruling him out of another three games.

He's played 31 games in all competitions including six appearances in the Champions League out of 7 games ffs. That should tell you he's an important part of the United infrastructure.

Basically, stop chatting shit Litterbug, players are sold but you just don't go for them because you want a quick fix.

Between myself and Damien we've sold this season:

NASRI, Samir (28/92)
LACAZETTE, Alexandre (24/91)
GOMES, Andre (22/90)
KNOCHE, Robin (23/89)
MCCARTHY, James (24/89)
THAUVIN, Florian (22/88)
DURM, Erik (23/88)
KORB, Julian (23/88)
BITTENCOURT, Leonardo (21/87)
DAVIES, Ben (22/87)
SILVA, Lucas (22/87)
REDMOND, Nathan (21/86)
SELKE, Davie (20/85)
VELÁZQUEZ, Emiliano (21/85)

All players that could be used for either first team or a cup team. You just want it all your way and for us to sell whoever you want. Tough shit. Only one of those players is aged 25 or above as well. So all young players with room for growth.

Scouting, its part of the game finding talents and with the cap you have to be picky with who you sign makes it more fun watching players youv found grow in real life, the reason you cant get players is because you have no young players to offer in exchange varun was willing to make a deal for gundogan, but i didnt want to lose 2 of my promising players, but i could have made the deal if i wanted to because i had something to offer and finding young talented players will give you something to hang in front of us to make transfers happen

5 goals now

Venting his frustration for being shunned out against Albania :p

But you said that you don't player hog and you sell if you get a good offer. So that's the contradiction there.

Same with Damien. I offered Pardo, Vazquez and up to £25m in combination for Christian Fecking Eriksen and all he came up with was bullshit because he simply doesn't want to sell even though he has 12 players available for a maximum of 5 midfield positions.

Good players in the game keep moving between a handful of clubs.

There are obviously some players that I simply won't sell. That's fairly obvious Litterbug, but if a fair offer comes in for a player that I don't deem is important then i'll sell. There's no contradiction at all, if I was player hogging I simply wouldn't sell any of my players at all would I? But as you can clearly see, I do sell. Your problem is that you don't want to invest in young players as witnessed by the fact that you've got feck all points on the youth table. Your transfer policy is utterly flawed.

None of those players would improve my team bar Nasri and I was all player banned at the time he got sold so didn't have enough cash to offer as he wouldn't accept PX. Lacazette has gone to Liverpool in the exchange for sterling. Would have thrown up to the kitchen sink for him but there was never any chance. Same with Gomes. The rest would in no way improve my team, or any team in Div 1 for that matter. Knoche went to QPR for £18m and.

I didn't have money to invest in youth when my team was shite.

If I buy 85 rated players and wait 2-3 years for them to develop as I would be completely cash strapped, relegated and likely would need to sell those players to you or Damien to keep afloat.

I buy older players and sell them at a profit as its the only way to make the money I need not to go bankrupt.

Well you're obviously a mug then. I had 2 starting 89 rated players in my first team when I won the league. They're only 1 rating away from going up to 90, 88's are useful for backup squad players as shown by me using Fabinho, Willems and feck Berahino is 87 rated and i've been using him as a sub.

You're a rating snob.

Yeah there's nothing more pleasurable than finding a youth talent who flourishes. Some of my signings:

Bernardo Silva - signed as 80 rated, now 88 rated
Anthony Martial - signed as 75 rated, now 87 rated and the most expensive teenager in history
Calum Chambers - signed as 77 rated, now 87 rated
John Stones - signed as 75 rated, now 87 rated
Tin Jedvaj - signed as 75 rated, now 86 rated

All at top European teams.

There's also another player I signed - Milik - who I originally signed at Leeds as 76 rated and is now 87

It's not going to be fair for everyone @LitterBug You have to fight and scrape for the players and that's part of the fun. Frankly, I, for one, have zero interest in managing Man Utd or Chelsea or Arsenal even with all the 90 rated players they have. It's no fun at all for me.

Part of the appeal of going to United originally for me was to rebuild the squad. Zarlak had turned the team into an old folks home so to revitalise the squad and get the likes of Bale and Götze in was a great project. Now the team is a lot more balanced and stable apart from the defensive area.

The team feels like its mine rather than someone else's, just purely because of the amount of work I've done

He is mine. On Loan at Swansea.

Oh I was talking about the current team. If I took them over now for instance I wouldn't be doing too much other than put the tactics up every 3 days.

Aye I know. Was just explaining why I found it appealing at the time and understanding why it wouldn't be so appealing for you

Well I guess I did sign him for just 310k. Thanks for bringing attention to it

You're welcome. I know it's a running joke, but seriously you must have been over the feckin moon when he signed for United. What a buzz! Surely that's the whole point of this game? I'm just going to play this game the exact same way I did other FM games. Although this one does suffer from a lack of features I think that will be more than compensated by playing against you guys, and the possible longevity of the game more than makes up for it.

Your up to 12th you spoon. The image that I can't be arsed to update was the first update.

Not sure why I completely went over the text! Think I was 17th in the last update so that's quite a jump.

Yep, it was absolutely incredible. An amazing feeling and I agree, the point for me is to find young players who do grow and flourish - and its the same with RedSky.

Yeah, my lad said the same the other night when he joined. He stayed up till about 5am cursing you all because you all snapped up most of the top young talent
