Gaming The SM RedCafe League

ffs I was clicking on it wondering why it wasn't doing anything... you got the link the wrong way round you numpty!

Yeah I did that couple times, then hovered to se ethe link was broken so copied it and pasted into the browser :D More half arsed work from Phil :p

So I've got my finances sorted...

Ticket Prices:
League = £20.80
Europe = £20.00
Cup = £10.40

Sponsor Fee:
League = £7.80
Europe = £7.50
Cup = £7.80

Ground Maintance Fee:
League = £5.20
Europe = £10.00
Cup = £5.20

* You receive exactly 50% of the tickets sold in an Away Cup Game. So an example, I got £70,224 from my away cup fixture to Southend United who priced his tickets at £24.00!
That explains the low attendance

So these figures are exactly the same figures Damien got. Except Stockport priced their cup game tickets at £31.20! :lol:

and Stockport are in a lower division than Southend so its weird. Looks like further down you go in the divisions the more expensive cup games are.

Guessing league games might be cheaper

Yup. We both got half of that total ticket money. Which is why it's great if you're a small club and get an away fixture to a club with a large stadium. You'll be getting 50% of their total gate receipts.
I mean my home attendance is low because the ticket is so expensive :angel:

I can confirm that my ticket price is the same for league and cup games

Didnt take long. Just simple formulas.

I'm going to do some formulas/macros over the weekend for the prediction calculations. Issue is people post them differently some do the score in the middle some after so have to do some kind of extraction from the text string.

Bit rusty as feck knows when the last time I did something complicated in Excel was.

My idea is clear, I will copy and paste the prediction in some cells, then the formula will compare the result with the game result and calculate the total score which it would then enter in the score table. I'd have to add the poster name manually as can't see how I would be able to grab that and the prediction at the same time without fecking the whole structure.

By the way none of you apart from Varun have joined! https://www.redcafe.net/threads/premier-league-predictions-game-week-1.407626/

To add any of you to the list, all i'll require is your merchandise value (the per week value). If you're in Division 2 or below that will be harder as I imagine all the prices will be different.

When I did the lineups game I told people it was a strict format or no score. I'll enter btw.

There was a big photo of your SM avatar that wiped half the table. So if it wasn't you then it'll be Herrera who made it to look like you. Apologies if it wasn't.

I'm not even logged in to Gmail man. I'm annonymous Dinosaur. Also I wouldn't have my SM avatar on Gmail :lol:

Feck me Varun is on £37m of income while I'm on £19. WOLF! Lynch him!

Hold on... fyi, Damien was the 2nd person to add his finances to this. He's a proper hung.

Don't think anyone wanted to know that last part RS. What you do with Damien is your business...

Right then, so the above table is just League Game data, doesn't take into account Cup games or European games as I think it's fairer to compare each club in their "worst case scenario".

Looks like attendance figures depend on how well you're doing in the season. Further down the pecking order you are in the table the less fans turn up and thus your figures go down. So as an example, Stoke City have pretty much sold out every single game meaning they've only lost out on £3k from their maximum value (full crowd each game). Damien is not surprisingly at the top of the table, but not as far ahead as I thought he would be.

Whats interesting is looking at the difference between Darlington and myself. He's got 11k less stadium capacity but he's not that far behind in max income.

Thanks to those that helped btw. Very kind of you lads for releasing your finances.

Makes for interesting reading, thanks RS.

Sergi Roberto (87 rated) is available on loan to anyone who is interested. Note: he is unable to play in either cup competition.

Spurs and Stoke have the best fans. Sunderland a bunch of glory hunters.
