Gaming The SM RedCafe League

No, i'm saying I want to understand how the finances work in regards to clubs who are in the CL/EL. There's no point making the FFP system better if we don't get how the incomes are tallied up. Damiens currently in his best case scenario right now being in the CL and playing 2 extra games at the start of the season. You on the other hand are in the EL. It's trying to figure out how far ahead Damien and yourself are from everyone else before we can actually improve the current system to make it fairer.

I don't think it's fair to punish Damien simply because he had a great season last year which is being reflected in his finances this year. See my point?

You should have said that then rather than accusing people of lying or accusing me of moaning because I am paired with damo. It's especially ridiculous seeing as I was the first one to point out those reasons and defend his squad cap when the changes were first proposed few weeks back.

It's a game we are playing on the Internet with absolutely no reward in store. Let that sink in before you accuse people of lying.

Still though, I will post a screenshot of my finances tomorrow. You will be amazed to find out that they are in sync with what I told you on chat.

Yes, I'm lying and mouthing off because I'm being paired with damo. It's a game ffs, expect better from you.

He cheats at monopoly you should expect less. :p

Don't care what we do with FFP as long as we lower Damos cap or ban him from buying anyone unless he sells 88+ player. He either distributes the wealth or we crush him with his kitty!

But seriously we need to adjust FFP as both income and quality are in heavy disparity between clubs. I understand that a lot of us johnny come lateys can't have everything on a silver platter but to make it slightly more attractive so people do stick with it maybe a bone could be theown. None of you, I repeat, absolutely none of you will feel the difference from having 5 less players in your teams of 45-50-55 and so on while for the minnows having the chance to get a quality young player is absolutely impossible because even when one becomes available they're always snapped up by the top teams in the league. Don't say it isn't so.

In other news, I managed a decent away draw against MK. Preparations have begun for Liverpool at home!

Kept a clean sheet too. :p

To be honest I had set up earth shattering tactics for our game but I forgot to change the team that day which was a good thing as it would have probably ended the way it did with Damo :lol:

My finances

I make 0.4M around on home games and lose 0.6M on away. So avg 0.2M loss per team. 4M loss over the course of season.

MK2 league:

Just noticed that Reus moved back to Dortmund for cash as the club he is at was unmanaged. That's how much attention is being paid in that league :lol:

So... one thing i've deduced already is that you don't get much money from cup game attendances. The ticket prices must be far lower than the League games.

Do away teams receive any gate receipts from cup games?

Well i'm pretty sure there's already a bug with the Merchandise figure in the finances. :lol:

I've had 10 installments of £79,464 but my total Merchandise figure is £1,073,097. So I've had an extra £278,457 appear.

How are you going to use the income stats since lower league make even less money?

No idea... one step at a time, i'm still trying to figure out a few things!

Whats interesting is that myself and Wolves have pretty similar stadium sizes and yet I've played 11 cup games (6 home) he's played 4 cup games (0 home) and yet I've only got £2.4m more then him in my finances, despite having played 7 more cup games.

ok... so i'm starting to get my head around this now.

Nottingham Forest League Home Fixtures:

Is that still going on? :lol:

So I've got my finances sorted...

Ticket Prices:
League = £20.80
Europe = £20.00
Cup = £10.40

Sponsor Fee:
League = £7.80
Europe = £7.50
Cup = £7.80

Ground Maintance Fee:
League = £5.20
Europe = £10.00
Cup = £5.20

* You receive exactly 50% of the tickets sold in an Away Cup Game. So an example, I got £70,224 from my away cup fixture to Southend United who priced his tickets at £24.00!
