Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I played all my babies for the Cup as I need my first team fully pumped for Blackburn! We're getting hell prepared for you @akash02 :D

My players laughed at the idea of preparing for the game so we spent the week in Dubai. Bernat is going to wreck you.

The latter.

Cheslea probably needed the money so it's a good deal for them. And Damien probably has another 100m to burn so doesn't affect him. I wish I had that kind of money to spend though:(

I think damo got the better deal personally. Chelsea will find it incredibly tough to use the money well. Managed clubs don't even consider cash bids unless it's a ridiculous sum.

You can do a lot with that money even it's buying good prospects and take gambles on players you otherwise wouldn't be able to. It's not like Ozil was helping him too much was he?

He needs to stem his PL performances though. Buying talents won't be of kuch use assuming you're referring to the mid 80 range.

If he wants value for the money he has, he'l need to go external. Possible then but would require a lot of work and would be tough. He could have raised as much cash by flogging off 2 of his oldies.

Let's see though, maybe he has plans in sight. As I said, will be interesting to see what he does with the money.

Aye, buying players in the mid 80's is tricky but if you get it right you could have a 90 rated player in your hands in a couple of changes.

How has Ozil been doing for them? If he's been racking up insane stats and helping Chelsea to good positions then you might question how he plans to replace him. If he's not been doing much then it's not much of a loss.

No idea, can't check old season stats on my phone. Isn't all about numbers anyways though for midfielders. Avg rating would be interesting to see.

Daft deal on SM coming in 3...2..1. :D

Starting to hate this game. Playing as my local team in a different gameworld.

First, these are the stats from the Play-Off final on Monday night:

I'm the team in white. And I lost 5-4.

And now, I've agreed a fee to sign Denis Cheryshev and have had a message saying "this player refuses to sign for AFC Telford United". feck you SM, just feck you.

He's never got below a 7.00 average rating in a season but he's only ever scored double digits once in a season, when he played for United in season 3. He's done well for Chelsea in terms of assists in recent seasons (double digits two out of the last three seasons) but they've still struggled in the league.

My aim will be to get him back to double digits in terms of scoring. Won't be easy but managed to do it twice with Nasri so...

So he's not pulling up any trees then. Without looking at the squads I imagine Chelsea already have a 90+ player who can step into Ozil's position which is not bad. High rated players can often be a disappointment on SM.

I see. Just checked his average rating and its good enough but not spectacular.

Would need to change his formation and go 3 at the back unless he's buying a player straight for the 1st team.

If you don't know how to use them that is ;)

I made Ashley Young better in 2/3 of the season last year than he was in his previous 7 1/3

I always play 3 at the back. Good defenders are always harder to get than other positions.

I often end up benching higher rated players if they are shit. I've always thought there's a certain 'sweet spot' with the match engine. A certain formation, a certain player, playing in certain positions or specific sides on the pitch etc.. If you stumble on it then you don't stop winning. I once played a 75 rated player in a team full of 90's/ The fecker couldn't stop scoring so I kept on playing him at the expense of better players.

Yeah that's how I feel too. I just hope that Nasri wasn't that sweet spot.

Its exactly like this. You just have to do little tweaks and adjustments each match based on performances and that's how you can make the tam better.

Every team I played against was much better than me but the result was always close because of how I have positioned my players and formation!

Get ready to be DESTROYED!

Arsenal have released a statement announcing that there will be no future business with Wolverhampton Wanderers as long as their current manager @LitterBug is at the club.

The breakdown has been caused by LitterBug backing out of a confirmed deal and ignoring the attempts to contact him instead of being upfront about it.

FFS nearly had a heart attack when I read the title of this thread. Then saw it was the Soccer Manger thread.

FFS @Varun I told you I need time to raise the cash

Now you've offered him out to everyone!

Can you blame me when you ignore PMs on SM and the chat too? Your reply today indicated you had backed out.

Anyways, I will honour the commitment made so if you're doing the deal I will take him off the market.

I didn't ignore anything as soon as you said go ahead I sold one player and was offering Nacho out to people! Now no one will give me a decent price for him knowing Clichy will be available if I can't get the cash together.

Wolf!

They're all shitty AI offer, never going to make the required amount with that

I'm going to push to try and get it done by Sunday, if I don't get the money together then you can offer him out.

Feck sake went to cancel the other offers and clciked accept by accident on the £7m offer

"Litterbug a prick"

In an astonishing attack on the Wolves manager at the pre match press conference, Blackburn Manager Akash has labeled him a "f***ing prick". This comes on the back of a reported bid for young Brazilian Blackburn star Malcom by the Midlands club, which insiders at the club described as "pathetic and insulting". Akash was also asked about the latest in a series of bids for Nabil Fekir by Sunderland to which he responded cryptically saying "MJJ gonna be MJJ". The clash of words should add extra spice to their encounter tonight but Akash appeared to be in bullish mood and termed Wolves as a "wee little club"

Making bids when he's committed an offer to me and asked for time to raise cash

In a statement to the club's official channel the mighty Wolves manager @LitterBug laughed off the strong comments made by the inferior Blackburn manager @akash02. "Clearly he is intimidated, but we have no time for a small time club. We like to keep our heads down and let our hard work be seen on the pitch". Speaking about Malcom he said "I like the kid, and I'm sure he prefers to be playing week in week out at the Molineux rather than that shithole Ewood Park".
