Club statement
First of all, we'd like to state how impressed we are with what Wolverhampton Wanderers have achieved this season. To snatch the title like that on goal difference on the final day of the season, finishing ahead of Liverpool who were leading Division 2 by a large margin at one point is incredible. And we're proud that our player, Raphael Guerreiro played a part in the title.
We are, however, disappointed in Wolverhampton Wanderers leaking the partnership proposal to us, just hours after their first approach to us. We're a club that likes to do things quietly, only announcing when deals are actually done, and we feel that the leak was a move designed to try and put pressure on us as a club, which is unfortunate.
We'd also like to state that we have been approached by a number of clubs over the past few weeks, who have attempted to get 88 rated players on loan, and we've remained steadfast in our assertion that we won't be loaning out 88 rated players and won't go back on that. The only exception to this is Bristol City, who secured the coup loan transfer of Andre Gomes, expected to rise to 89, for next season. This is something that had been agreed on for a while.
In the interest of keeping everything in the open so some won't be disappointed, below is a list of everyone in the Manchester United squad and their availability for next season. If anything has changed, please let us know.
So apologies to Wolverhampton Wanderers, we're not looking to getting into a partnership at this point in time and would like to wish you the best next season in the top flight.
