Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I'm not sure what's up with my tactics but every game I play I'm picking up at least one or two injuries and/or a red card.

How's their fitness rating before games? You press all over the pitch. that might play a part.

Youth prospect Betrand Traore has joined Villa, along with mercurial start Hatem Ben Arfa. In other news, Milner is up for sale.

3-0 win over Darlington. Delighted.

Slight issue now is that my squad will be fecked for Thursday's game but I prioritised the Shield so knew this was coming.

Interesting.

Beat Milwall 2-0. Good win.

Damo up next in the cup. Big match but unlike Damo, my priority's the league. The kids will have get a run out at the Theater of Dreams.

You'll play Derby next game. No sweat, 3 points.

18th is relatively simpler for me, Portsmouth but I wont risk it. I hope you play your 1st team though :D

Pressure is on me to get United's first piece of silverware so I will be doing. Got close last season by finishing second in the league and at one point was close to getting the title, but team fell apart a bit at the end.

United hasnt won the league yet? That's bad. Chelsea won it last season. City the first season right? Who won the 2nd season?

For the first two seasons, Zarlak was in charge of United. I took over towards the end of the second season but my focus was on rebuilding the side as it was a bit of a shambles. United's best league finish ever in season 3 is a result of that rebuilding work.

Yeah, I remember Zarlak being the manager. You've got a fantastic young squad now that'l only improve. Future looks good.

I have one issue with Damo's squad, and I know he's not the only one, but 50 players on loan....sickening.

I know. I'm reducing the numbers when each player rises but despite the number of players I have, the rises don't seem to be happenening and a lot are well overdue for one.

Most successful teams:

Largest squads

Reading - 74* one player soon to be sold
Manchester United - 73
Manchester City - 60
Sunderland - 46
Tottenham Hotspur - 45
West Bromwich Albion - 45
Darlington - 41
Sheffield Wednesday - 40
Everton - 37
Liverpool - 37
Middlesbrough - 37
Newcastle United - 37
Nottingham Forest - 35
Arsenal - 34
Bolton Wanderers - 33
Stoke City - 33

Using the typical squad with a max attendance of say 45k. 37 players in their squad is the magic number. You make profit each week. Anymore than that, and you need to be playing in Europe at the very least too. I've only made 2 signings this season, and I sold 2 to make the space.

Derby have done the double over me. Didn't win on the first game of the season either. Can only hope that what happened last time happens this time and I go on a long unbeaten run...

Solid 5-1 win vs Wolves.

3 of the 5 teams above me lost which is an additional bonus.

Slightly regretting putting out such a strong team, fitness levels fecked for the next game. Bad experience with unmanaged clubs earlier meant I couldnt get myself to risk it.

QPR away will be tricky now.
