Some big games on Thursday. I have Middlesborough who are in really bad form, should be winning that. Top of the table clash with Leeds and Ipswich. I think Damo's all but secured promotion so I hope he beats Scrumpet to help my push for 2nd spot. Blackpool vs Forest, a Forest win or a draw please!

Plus the little matter of the Manchester derby.

Yeah, RS mentioned there were games between all of the top 10 so it should be a tasty evening.

Still a long way to go with most of the sides still to play either in the top 10 or are in a good spell of form but I'm in a good position and while one of my starters is injured so is one of Scrumpet's and he's lost his last two while I'm unbeaten in eight.

There are some good games in the other divisions too:

Division 1: Manchester United (2nd) - Manchester United (1st)
Division 3: Reading (2nd) - Southampton (4th)
Division 4: Plymouth Argyle (5th) - Sheffield Wednesday (2nd)
Division 5: Crawley Town (3rd) - Darlington (1st) (though Crawley Town are unmanaged)

Right, does anyone have a 90+ rated striker they wish to swap for Bojan Krkic?

I've got no money, so don't bother asking for a player plus cash deal...

There are no injuries between games and in the tactics you have the fitness the players will have on matchday, so it makes no difference to setup the team 3-4 days in advance.

If you're out of the cups, and you don't get injuries, you don't even need to change your team, as they recover adequately from one game tot he next anyway...

I agree although I often vary my tactics and selection depending on who the other team is. Don't you?

:lol::lol::lol:

Worst excuse ever.

If you're this pathetic and shit just quit and give somebody else a chance. All you do is cry and moan that things aren't going your way, I think you'd better suited to a single player game with a bunch of cheats on.

Shut up you stupid scruffy cnut and mind your own business. I am sick to the back teeth with you sticking your nose into other peoples business. Concentrate in fecking up the league title up as you are doing a great job of it.

signed up Glen Johnson. Gives me a strong enough defence now, well considering what is available on the market, most top defenders are already snapped up. Even if he dropped to 90 I wouldnt be too bothered, and that wont happen till October.

This transfer dealio is a cnut of thing to work out. Why wont my chairman accept the value of my offer?

Probably as he values the player too low. Our chairman acts as a cap as to how much we can spend on all transfers. His value on a player depends on the value of your squad. So the higher average rating squad you have, the lower he will allow you to bid on certain players, especially lower rated players. Atleast that is what it appears to be. When you click on a player and click "make a bid", just read all the small print and it becomes more clear.

Oh fairo. I was trying to to a P/ex and get rid of a couple of players in the mid 70s. My squad is rated low 80s so if it was, say, high 80s, low 90s, it would be less of a problem?

Not done P/Ex before so it threw me off. Usually just offer cash straight up.

Just look at the details when you click on "make transfer bid". It will be like this:

The Benfica Chairman will accept no less than 3,750,000 for Steven REID.
If other players are offered in the deal then the Benfica Chairman will accept no less than 4,500,000.
Steven REID expects a wage of up to 21,900, his agent and your Chairman will negotiate the exact amount.

Your Chairman values Steven REID at 3,040,000.
Your Chairman will allow you to pay up to 6,080,000 for Steven REID.
If other players are offered in the deal then your Chairman will decrease this amount to 5,472,000.
Your current balance is 100,000,000,321.

All the details are there. I'm allowed bid upto 6mill for cash, and for p/x I'm allowed a total value of 5.4mill (inlcuding both players and your cash add-on). Just keep an eye on that part and you'll be fine.

As your squad is lower average, you will be allowed bid more on a higer rated player. For instance I maxed my p/x bid for Mata, I couldnt improve it anymore as my chairman wouldnt let me. Lecister City had a higher allowence from his chairman to bid for Mata due to his lesser average rating team, so he got him.

My Rochdale just won the league by 1 points and completed a double season, winning English Cup as well.

This setup(Rochdale one) is unique as three of us managers promoted from Division 4 to Division 1 and 2 of us are above usual big teams.

1st Rochdale 2nd Lincoln City 3rd Charlton 4th Newcastle 8th Leyton Orient.

What is T Day? Are there an unusual amount of important fixtures?

I guess the interesting thing is having two "top of the table" clashes on one day. 1st plays 2nd in the top two divisions.

Quite interesting. Personally I won't be tuning in to see Notts Count take on Preston North End
