Also got my Ryan Nelsen sent off after I went 1-0 up. Strong Arsenal team but for 2 players, decent result considering.

Yeah, RedSky, whatever you do, don't set your team out as if cw were going to play the formation that's been responsible for his recent run of good form, because he's not playing that formation, he's playing an experimental one. *wink wink*

Got Fulham tonight, could do with a win to keep me in contention for a top 2 finish. Drawn too many recently.

One word: How?!

Your squad wages are over 600k. In Division 2 most squads are struggling with wages of around 500k, and being in Division 3 you'll be getting a lot less from TV revenue/tickets (even though your stadium is always at full capacity). You must surely be losing money after each game?

You've been smart in not changing all of your squad like some other sides, so when Torres did become available you didn't have much competition and could swap some of your players who didn't have a transfer ban.

I clear 600k aft every home game and lose about the same on away games. Cup run helped slightly but I did have to stretch to paying 600k as the players I was offering were slightly over the minimum valuation for Torres.

Couple more transfers to go after this one and I should be good to go.
 
OMG, how on earth is all this happening, Rooney in D2, and Torres in D3. Also Zarlak, why'd you sell Rooney in the first place, only to buy Villa now? Clearly no long term planning.
 
Well done signing him. It's unlikely his rating will go up (though you never know if he goes to the right club and gets back his form) but he should still be in the 90s for years to come.

Er, Coventry haven't signed Rooney. kps was just messing and it's unlikely he would be obtainable for a Division 2 club or under given his asking price.

Torres was available for around £11m which is fairly easy for a Division 2 or 3 club to pay for.

Only solution though is to rest him tonight, otherwise you're eternally fecked. 10 minutes, quick. :D
 
what the feck!? Rooney going to Coventry and Torres to West Ham? Thats stupid, I thought there was meant to be a calculation based on player squad strength?
