Signing Macheda and Gosling as the start of the game really were terrible, terrible signings :lol:

Oh well! Live and learn.

Decent update RS. Mine:

Witzel coming to Geordie land :) Although he thought he was signing up for a season in Geordie Shore......#winning.

Looks like I'll be in the red after tomorrows away league game by about 700k. Looking at my fixtures I should be grand this time next week, Home games in Europe and the League within a few days of each other :)

Sorry Levo had to send him back to take a CB on loan, later in the season I might re loan if you do not get any bids in.

No worries mate, thought I'd be getting him back. If he doesn't get any bids he'll remain loan listed with the odd friendly appearance no doubt.

The newbie loan watch

Blackpool
For loan - GK 83
Want - 83+ rated defender and a 84+ rated winger or forward

Sunderland
For loan - espinso(83 cb) (have bid for him now), mcclean(84 winger), wickham(84 fwd/wng) and di-jong(84 cf)

There should be a transfer window in this

D

There kind of is. At the start of the game everyone does transfers, and then the players that have moved are locked for a season (half season?). Then everyone waits, and once players become available everyone does transfers again.

Rooney, Nasri and Torres are all available within 3 days of each other.

What is a bit annoying is that as Rooney comes available on the 20th May, if your players will be available to sell on the 21st you will probably miss him

Most teams outside the top division can't really afford to do any transfers now until the transfer bans end. Teams in the top division, depending on who you are can afford to do another transfer after a few weeks.

Exactly, the premiership teams are still signing players on a regular basis while teams in the lower leagues can't. Hence why windows should be included and stricter rules on loans, makes the game more challenging imo.

I sacrificed bigger name players to get a better and more flexible squad. However, with the loan situation as it is atm, players can simply loan in whoever is on offer to fill any gaps. It's a bit crap really, you should be punished for your poor transfer skills rather than bailed out by loans.

(when i'm saying you, I don't actually mean you Damien, just managers in general :p)

:(

I agree RS. That's what I sort of did with my squad. Signing Pinto and Inzaghi was utter stupidity but the other transfers have been alright and though my squad is small a lot of the players are flexible and can play in different positions.

I've got to be very thankful for the loans I do have - especially Cahill. Without him I'd have been a first team player short in either midfield or defence depending on where I decided to play Kacar.

Proper sad, waiting behind at work when I finished at 8 to check the match report. Beat WR 3-1, won't let me see a match report though. Forgot to put Rivas in as well.

Was leading 1-0 as well. :( Can't complain, you had a strong team out. Not much you can do about a 99 Messi!

Millwall 1 - 3 Man Utd
Giovinco (34) Messi (49, 74)
Sneijder (85)

Possession: 38% - 62%
Total shots: 16 - 13
Shots on target: 5 - 9
Corners: 8 - 3
Yellows: 0 - 1
Red cards: 0 - 0

Messi was your MOTM with 10 rating. Robinho, Cleverley and Nani with the assists.

Lost 5-2. Had more possession, more shots etc.

Be nice if my players seemed clicked on about friendlies and the game wasn't so bloody random!

feck it, the youth team are going out in future friendlies.

Beat Swansea 3-0, although it seems like he put a youth squad out. I completely forgot I had a game today so it was my first team out

Yet again, had no idea I was playing so didnt change away from my youth team. Didnt help that my striker got a red card after 11 minutes though, and got a smashing 3 rating.

Burrow has gone from Nick Frost to Nigel Thornberry:

I've noticed the Norwich job is now available. Will we be doing a similar application process to decide the manager? I won't be applying - just intrigued.
