Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I think that's the rest of the PL whose changes came through. United changes:

Risers:

De Gea: 89 -> 90
Antonio Valencia: 91 -> 92
Jonny Evans: 88 -> 89
Danny Welbeck: 88 -> 89
Ryan Tunnicliffe: 78 -> 80
Reece Brown: 75 -> 77
Ollie Norwood: 78 -> 80
Robbie Brady: 78 -> 81
Joshua King: 77 -> 78

Drops:

Ji Sung Park: 91 -> 90
Dimitar Berbatov: 92 -> 91
Michel Owen: 87 -> 86

Can't argue with most of these, but Scholes not going up above 90 is insane.

English update's completely done now?

Didn't get a bad review:

Bale 91-92
Kyle Walker 88-89
Livermore - 83-84
Gomes - 88-87

Why don't you have a location Damien?

Varun, do you still need Anderson? Notice he hasn't played your last 4 games and isn't match fit. I'll have him back if he's not needed by you anymore.

Need him mate. Wasnt active regularly recently which led to the same 11 playing consecutive games. Had to play my reserves last game because of that.

Ando is first choice, part of my midfield 3.

I'll get rid of Gomes at end of the season no doubt, may keep Livermore as I think if he keeps it up he'll get another rise in the next update.

Hoping to get a good rise out of the Spanish League as well. Only got youngsters but got Rafinha, Deulofeu & Vadillo who will all hopefully be bumped up a few.

Lost 3-0 at home to Tottenham... WTF :eek:

Puyol's predicted to stay the same or go down to 95.
Iniesta's predicted to stay the same.
Ozil's predicted to stay the same too.

For me:

Pinto's predicted to stay the same (I can't see this happening, he'll most likely drop)
Jairo's predicted to possibly go up 4 or 5 max.

Why get rid of Walker? He's just been upped and looks good for another if he can keep performances up surely?

He may look promising but that is attributed to his age because any decent performance from a youngster is dimmed class one these days.
If i were you, i would sell him now when his hype is around.

That's good. Their squad was ridiculously overrated to begin with. Ratings were far too high. Puyol has remained at 96 lol.

Getting worried that my team will still demolish yours when we meet? :smirk:

That update is fair enough for Chelsea - I got rid of half the players due to go down purely because that would happen. I think taking Cech down 1 is a bit harsh though, he's hardly declined. Cole should've gone down 2 though in my opinion so it's all swings and roundabouts.

I need to buck my player's ideas up if they think they can continue to play like they did against Spurs.

I've ordered my players to paint the Forest stand today. I'm ruddy fecked off by their attitude, losing 2-0 to Brighton at home whilst having triple the shots on target that Brighton did. I'm not happy.

Not really, he's seemed pretty constant for me. Put it this way, I don't consider Hart to be the same standard as Cech just yet.

I see that Ba and Sturridge didn't get a rise, which is absolutely ridiculous.

I agree about Ba and Sturridge.

As for Cech for me he went through a period where he didn't make saves that he easily should have. He might have improved since then as it was a couple of months ago and it could have been a blip but I wouldn't say he's been constant.

How does the fitness to age ratio work in this game? Does the age have a factor on the fitness they lose each game?

I think so. Derry was absolutely knackered after one game I played him in. Fitness lost depends on age and the playing style I think. If you have some players making runs then that'll have an impact too.

Yeah... atleast I know the players I'm getting rid of though. Glad that I swapped Essien for Schweinsteiger just before he dropped though.

WTF? Ba didnt go up?? Cisse went up plus1 then.... That is bullshit to be fair. Cisse had the same form at Freiburg as Ba had at Newcastle. Pissed off about that. Atleast Tiote and Ben Arfa went up plus1.

Nobody went down at Arsenal and 6 players went up, Chamberlain by 3 :)

Overall, this round of changes has had a minimal effect on England's international squad, given physical conditions aren't taken into account for the qualifiers. Hart went up a point, Gerrard and Cashley went down one, but both are still nailed-on top XI starters, and the risers to 89 and 90 don't really matter, yet, as I only need to play or two 90s in the squad.

Good, I need someone to knock out on penalties in the QF

FAO: Argentina manager (Ralaks)

Currently in Argentina squad:

Maxi RODRIGUEZ (89) - Wing/AM
Played: 0
Goals: 0
Assists: 0

Mario SANTANA (89) - Wing/AM
Played: 4
Goals: 0
Assists: 1
Average Rating: 6.75

Not in Argentina squad:

Nicolas GAITAN (89) - Wing/AM
Played: 4
Goals: 0
Assists: 5
Average Rating: 7.5

Gaitan is currently top of the assists table in Division 2 and compared to Rodriguez and Santana who are in their thirties he is just 24, and I believe he would make a fantastic addition to your squad. Look at how well he has done in the league. At the least he deserves to be in over Rodriguez.

Posted that in late March and he's still not been added to the squad :( Since then both Rodriquez and Santana have gone down to 88. Here's stat comparison between Santana and Gaitan:

Mario SANTANA (88) - Wing/AM
Played: 7
Goals: 1
Assists: 1
Average Rating: 6.86

Nicolas GAITAN (89) - Wing/AM
Played: 8
Goals: 1
Assists: 6
Average Rating: 7.5
