You should keep Nelson then, Levo, as you've obviously not got enough cover in CB. Why would you be planning on loaning him out again if recalling players is not something you plan to do again if possible?

Because Dawson will be back from injury, he's my cover. Just pure bad luck he was injured when my RB needed swapping.

 Give it a rest, Damien. You know damn well that you got a great team, yet ahead of every match you start with this "Oh, I will not get anything from this game. I got no chance, best I can hope for is 1 point." This fake humbleness is getting annoying!

Er, look at my squad and their conditions. I'm going to have to field a fairly poor side tonight.

Four players on condition 80 or below:

Piszczek (Injured) (90) - 58%
Jantschke (87) - 74%
Kacar (88) - 77%
Cahill (88) - 80%

Three of those are usually guaranteed starters (Jantschke has been playing since Piszczek picked up his injury).

That bye in the cup has resulted in my players losing match sharpness though, can see it being a tough game.

 Will be an interesting battle for sure.

They've started the England review...

Go on, I might fancy a bid myself...

No, I can't compete financially, need to wheel and deal.

The Liverpool job is available, people interested should post here (or send me a pm if you're a newbie) their CV.

We'll then vote on the most original / funny / deserving CV and that person will get the job.

You have exactly 48 hours from the moment of this post to post your CV and the voting will take 24 hours.

The Sunderland job will also be available in 2 days, so please mention if you would be interested in getting it in case you don't get the Liverpool one. The second person with more votes will have the Sunderland job.

If you guys think this should have a separate thread feel free to open it.

Give it to a new player.
If this continues, number of players in this game will keep reducing.
No one in this game has done anything to deserve a promotion to bigger club or anything like that.

Give a PM to Jacob, he asked about becoming the Sunderland manager and I don't think he's registered into the game yet.

I agree with Trionz for what its worth, i'd say managers of existing teams should only be allowed to transfer after half a season.

What if you are just interested in the Sunderland job and not the Liverpool one at all? Will there be two separate votes?

Just mention that and if you win the poll you get Sunderland and the 2nd gets Liverpool.

Give it to a new player.
If this continues, number of players in this game will keep reducing.
No one in this game has done anything to deserve a promotion to bigger club or anything like that.

I sugested that a while back but I was in the minority, this application/voting system received more support so it's fine by me.

The CV will probably not be based on stats but humour I guess, at least at this early stage.

Injuries:

Welliton - out for 4 days.

---------------------------------------------------

Delighted with a point given my weak side but looking at the stats I'm slightly disappointed we didn't at least score a goal. Very good game BR. Picked up one injury to Welliton but it isn't for long.

Lost 3-1 against citeh. No surprise there. Played defensive. No injuries so that is good. Full strength for Swansea on Sunday.

Good game Damo, no problems with a draw

I've been really unlucky, again 64% possesion at stoke but still could only manage a draw.
Anyways still unbeaten in the league
stoke 3-3 fulham

 Told you Jay, 0-0

Booooo!

Lost 2-1 at home. I had 11 shots on target, they had...2. Not impressed.

Excellent. Incredible how the top few sides either lost or drew their matches.

Before the games:

1st - Leeds United - 13 points
2nd - Middlesbrough - 13 points
3rd - Ipswich Town - 12 points
4th - Millwall - 11 points
5th - Hull City - 10 points
6th - Derby County - 10 points

Results today with those six sides:

Crystal Palace 0 - 0 Leeds United (Draw)
Portsmouth 1 - 0 Middlesbrough (Loss)
Ipswich Town 1 - 2 Doncaster Rovers (Loss)
Coventry City 2 - 0 Millwall (Loss)
Nottingham Forest 0 - 0 Hull City (Draw)
Peterborough United 0 - 0 Derby County (Draw)

So I'm top of the league by a point but don't know where the other teams place yet. Peterborough next.

Lost 2-1 at home after they went down to 10 men after 12 minutes.... realistic.

Reading 3 -v- 0 Preston

Harnik (51), Aurtenetxe(67), Annan (80)

20 --------- Total Shots ----------- 11
6 ------ Shots On Target -------- 8
5 ----------- Corners -------------- 5
1 -------- Yellow Cards ----------- 2
0 ---------- Red Cards ------------ 0

Nice result for me, apart from Grosso now being out for 13 days.

First loss of the season. Was definitely coming. Had a few players with low condition.

It seems the other teams at the top also had poor results, which is good.

Well played Zarlak, lost 4-1 at Old Trafford against Everton.

As predicted though I nailed Newcastle; Cristiano Ronaldo out for ten days with a head injury though so not all good news :(

Yeah was just looking at the results. Coventry seem to be the big winner, jumping up several positions. Odd set of results though, pretty disappointed dropping points again at home to a promotion rival :(

I had double the shots on target you did and conceded a late, late equaliser. You were lucky, not unlucky!
Haan typical 2nd rate team, parking the bus and then hitting on counters. You were outplayed.
