Gaming The SM RedCafe League

SMFA competitions are the SMFA Cup (their version of the Champions League) and SMFA Shield (their version of the Europa League). There is also the SMFA Super Cup which I don't think needs any explanation. All of those require Gold in order to manage them, or the assistant takes control.

Normal league competitions (which don't require Gold) are the Cup (their version of our FA Cup), the Shield (their version of our Carling Cup) and the Charity Shield (their version of our Charity Shield).

See my edit above.

Don't pay for gold unless you get into European competition then. The international management seems shit and a bit pointless, and who the feck wants to manage twelve teams?!

It's shite that I got a bye for my cup tie.
could have been better if i had a match.
though in terms of progressing in the tournament, it's good & till then France ratings will finally start. why doesn't it start already.

Is that supposed to be a poem?

It's shit.

I quite fancy Middlesbrough to relive their 2004 League Cup winning heroics by going on a great cup run this year... you heard it here first.

Tip of the Day 2-
Never remind them.

I knew about the upcoming game against the dons anyways. Looking dodgey as to what team I can field. Fitness of my players is shite again, and will be worse I imagine after Sundays league game. I'm resonably happy wih my starting 11. But my subs/reserves are prospects, so basically shite :D Unless them cup games dont count towards fitness, but I found no info on that as of yet.

Weren't you saying you were considering accepting an external loan bid for Tom Cleverley that you recieved earlier this morning?

Cup games do affect fitness.

Here's a question... how many foreign players does everyones first team squads contain?

I currently have 1 Englishmen... and he's on loan from Wolves (and yet I have 5 Frenchmen)...

I have three Englishmen all on loan, three Argentinians (four including Iturbe on loan to Carlisle), three Brazilians, two Germans, two Italians, two Japanese, two Spanish and one Polish and one Serbian player. My squad is very multicultural.

The main reason a lot of Division 2 clubs don't have many English players is that simply the great ones are in the top flight and we're reluctant to deal with them/don't have anything that the top clubs would want in exchange for the English, so it's easier (and cheaper) to buy top talent abroad.

If I could start the game again I would keep one or two of Leeds' original players though.

Holy feck, I went from a 250k balance to a 27k balance since yesterdays game. Didn't notice that was the case since my balance went up after a home game. What happens if you go into red?

You can't make anymore transfers.... and that's about it.

You're 273rd in the cue.

Looks like everyone falls for the old 'cleverly troll'

Right, feck the results! I'm gonna play the way I would want my football team to play rather then trying to find what might work for the game.

I think that is a good thought but applies more the FM than this game. This game simulates and decides results based on the following:

formation vs formation : so for example if your formation has more players in center your possession will be more hence closer to victory,

Actual player rations: the higher the rating the more chances of being victorious

Luck: decided by AI I think.

So, in order to get a result you have to counter a tactic with another. :annoyed:

After recent results, and a meeting with DMAC the club and I have decided to part our separate ways, I'd like to wish Peterborough Football club well in its future endeavours. My heart is not in it and I don't want the club or the fans to suffer.

Now how do I resign in the game?

Middlesbrough claim the first managerial casualty.

I don't blame you mind, having your team be out classed so comprehensively would be disheartening for any individual.

No idea how you quit though...

I blame Heinze, judas cnut should be keeping clean sheets

I had a few rating changes, Mensah went down to 86 from 87, Bocaly went up to 88 from 87 and ayew went up to 86 from 85. All in all I'm pleased with that, because Mensah is the only one that went down and he is my second choice centerback.

Only had the one change so far and thats M'Vila rising to a 91 from a 90.

Sweet, defensive Kone pair and....err....my right back (can't remember how to spell is name) went up plus1 each. Not too shabby. And I steered Spain to a 4-1 win. Viva espania!
