My terrible start in the league continues, with yet another defeat and another red card. I take the lead almost every time, in friendlies I hold on but in the league I always ship goals in. Maybe I should go more defensive to stop leaking goals now. It doesn't help that I can't score more than 2 in a game either.

Is it worth upgrading to being a gold manager? Played the game for ages but never done it. Is it worth it?
It might be worth it for you with the European fixtures but for just the international stuff I thought it wasn't. If I do get promoted and by some miracle make it to Europe then I might purchase it again for a few months.
Well it gives you loads of extra game worlds and stuff doesn't it?
Oh yeah, it gives you 10 more so 13 in total which is useful if you want to play in other game worlds.

It's cheap enough that it's worth it, if you think you'll play a fair amount. Personally, I like the International play.

A great 6-0 win for MK Dons away at Macclesfield last night, won 3 out of 3 in the league now (I joined after the first match, which was a win though), sends me top of the league by 2 points. Although I'm yet to face a managed club in Division 4 yet!

I may be wrong but won't your assistant manager take control of FA Cup matches as well if you don't go gold? I'm sure it said all SMFA competitions are only for gold managers.

Nah I was wrong; SMFA only includes Champions and Europa Leagues, the FA Cup is part of the redcafe gameworld.
Yeah I'd buy it Damien. The ass man is a retard. He played Vidic at left back and Sneijder on the wing in my first European game before I bought it.
SMFA competitions are the SMFA Cup (their version of the Champions League) and SMFA Shield (their version of the Europa League). There is also the SMFA Super Cup which I don't think needs any explanation. All of those require Gold in order to manage them, or the assistant takes control.
Normal league competitions (which don't require Gold) are the Cup (their version of our FA Cup), the Shield (their version of our Carling Cup) and the Charity Shield (their version of our Charity Shield).
Well, if you're not interested in international management, you don't want twelve club teams and you're not in European competition then the gold membership is useless.
