Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I've always thought Damien was the 'Arry Redknapp of this game... and by george he's just gone and proven it.

 Apart from I won't leave Leeds in any financial trouble :p

You'll be lucky to get a bag of crisps for those two OAP's...

I do have two transfer targets in mind for when I can trade players again - each of which would easily accept the two OAPs :p

Damo - Your squad is looking incredibly thin at the moment. Only 18 players and 1 is injured?? You'll have to go into your Youth Team to fill your bench tonight! Why haven't you taken out a third loan? and how can you currently afford to let Iturbe go out on loan?

Because nobody will loan me a player despite me asking 3721 times nicely?

I could afford to let Iturbe go because I'm fine with options out wide. If need be I'll recall him but I'm fine for now.

Yeah it's really silly tbh. Conditon doesn't count in friendlies or European games, you can play a team of 18% fitness players and they will play like 100%, you can play injured players in friendlies and they perform 100%. It only comes into play in league games which there are 1 a week of. There's no point really in having more than 20 players. There's no point in rotating because you don't need to. Every player will be 100% after a week. You only need cover for injuries. Messi came back from a 5 day injury yesterday, played a game yesterday after only becoming 'uninjured' that morning, and is 96% already. He'll play tonights game, then whatever % fitness he is on won't matter because the next time fitness means anything, he will be back on 100%.

Burnley is very strong though. I've got no idea how they've lost their last two league games. I'll be lucky to get a point.

Pretty much everyone is very strong in our league. I don't think anyone's going to run away with it.

Team News - Middlesbrough FC

Some early rumoured team news for tonight's big game between Peterbrough and Middlesbrough is that Everton loanee Mathieu Peybernes is in-line to make his full debut for the club, replacing the injured Ukrainian 6ft6" monster Yevhen Khacheridi. Buoyed be a recent ratings increase, the young Frenchman will certainly have some big shoes to fill (hohoho) when he steps in at Centre Back and is tasked with marking veteran Posh striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

Goalkeeper Andrea Consigli and Left Back Jérémy Morel are also likely to make there debuts for the club, after signing from Atalanta and Marseille respectively. Ex-Real Madrid star Pedro Leon is also likely to drop to the bench after failing to impress in the last league outing against Crystal Palace, with club joint-top goalscorer Eljero Elia coming in to replace him.

City v Chelsea tonight, if they both draw and I beat Norwich by 2 then I go back top.

Nothing match then.

Doesn't get much bigger than Yeovil Town against Sheffield Wednesday tonight, no one can surely compete with a tie of that magnitude?

Got a draw written all over it that.

Can see one of Leeds or Ipswich having a minor slip today... so I need a solid win to take me up into the automatic promotion spots (with 4 games gone! Vital point of the season this).

I am going to lose. Lewandowski hat-trick followed by an Inzaghi OG. I'm certain of that.

Facing Carlisle tonight. Must have the youngest squad in the game.

I got battered all over the ground, not sure how I managed to secure a draw.

technically you scored 3 goals.........good old own goal  I seem to be creating chances, goals are few and far between. Valdes still makes mistakes in goal ffs :wenger:

Which position do you want?

Then he has to play defensive and counter-attack, there's not much he can do, just like in real life, and expect to get a point

That's fine. :D

By the way, does this work like FM/FML where your team need a bedding period to get used to a new tactic? Or do they just slot in immediately performing the same as always.

Fresh off a 2-0 loss to Leicester City yesterday, Carlisle United are in the doldrums and even the most ardent fan expects Sir Solius' Southampton to steamroll the young Carlisle team today. Manager DN was in a downcast mood today. He kept on mumbling about net spend and Darlington stealing his best prospects.

In stark contrast, the mood is bullish in Southampton, however there is discontent brewing among some sections of the fans. Southampton have a squad that can win the league, especially after financial doping propelled them from being a midtable club to the dizzy heights of Division 3 after 3D adult entertainment tycoon Sir Solius took over the club in in a leveraged buyout.

Sir Solius's Slutty Smutty Soccer Ltd. now has 650M of debt. SSSL has recently announced the plan to bring in some revenue by renaming St Mary's to SSS Arena but this has led the fans to vehemently protest.

One fan said "SSS is the new KKK, Solius out!" Another one said "We should not have said 'cocks out' when these people took over. All they do is broadcast 3d porn clips over the giant screen during halftime, and half the stadium keeps wanking and dirtying the seats. It is a disgrace." However another group of fans coming out from the toilets welcomed the change, and said it was the best thing to have happened to the club in ages.

Someone who can play in CM or DM (CM preferably) but most have either loaned their reserve midfielders out or their squad is at the lower limit.

You can have Shaun Derry.
