Oh feck off... i've just realised that a turn is every game, not every week... so the wage your players get is per game, which is a bit daft.

Decent result, a win is a win and I expected a win seeing as I was at home. 4 shots on target all game and 3 goals were scored
Need to keep this going though, after my terrible first game I'm going to need a few wins in a row to make up for it and get up the standings.

I thought a turn was every sunday? We have league games sundays and thursdays, so I thought that every turn was every sunday. I'm pretty sure it said that as well.

Ain't that a pretty sight?

Early days.... we'll see come the end of the season:devil:

I might end up in debt I think. Did anyone at all consider the wages when buying players?

Apparently not...

Game Turn

SoccerManager.com is a real time game with matches played at fixed times during the week (see matchday). Each league match within your Game World is classed as a Turn.

The number of Turns within each Game World will vary as this is dependent on the number of clubs within each division and also on how many times they play each other during the course of a season.

Matches are played at 20:00 Game Time, on the fixed dates which are listed within your schedule. Your match will automatically kick-off, there is no need to be online at kick-off time.

Once the results are processed and displayed within your Game World, the Game World will automatically move on to the next Turn.

It is worth noting that there is no 'Next Turn' button or similar as you cannot advance a Turn yourself as this is done automatically.

Does anyone know how to quit a manageral job? I've signed up as Brazil manager but don't want to do it... can't find how to quit.

How is everyone getting so many goals?
My games since taking over...
2-1 vs West Brom
2-1 vs Colchester Utd
2-0 vs Exeter City
1-1 vs Leeds
1-4 vs Burnley
1-0 vs Tottenham
2-1 vs Bristol City

I haven't scored more than 2 in a game yet, and my tactics is set to very attacking ! At least I'm managing to win games, with having more possession every time but still I need to find a way to get some more goals.

Perhaps that's why?

Attacking means loads of shots from range. Not worth going attacking unless you go for it in in-game settings.

European night's must count as a turn too maybe?

Yeah, maybe all games bar inc league and European ones. Friendlies not included.

I wonder if international games will count.

Also what happens in international games, half our squads will be playing. Do they count for fitness? Does my injury to Messi affect the Argentina coach? Will they play a club game and international game at the same time?

Wouldn't going very attacking make me score more?

Oh, I thought very attacking was sort of like an overload like in Football Manager, where the team goes all out to score but is vulnerable on the break.

Aren't turns based on how many league games you've played? We've played about 8 games now but only 2 league games in total and we're now in turn 3.

Aye, so turn 1 was your first game, turn 2 was your second game, so now we're in turn 3 which will end on your 3rd game... (I think?)

Anyway, no way I can remain profitable this season... I bring in 633,991 from home games, and my wage bill is 489,790 and maintenence is 73,476.

As a turn is every game, you're wage bill would have to be roughly half of your home game income, and I am way off that figure. As thing stand, quick maths tell me I will be roughly £8 million in debt at the end of the season.

No, I've signed on as Brasil manager and all the players are still listed to their original clubs rather than according to our purchases. I'm guessing then that the international scene is totally independent of our club interests.

p.s.
If anyone knows how to resign as an international manager I'd appreciate if you let me know; I don't know why I signed up, I just answered a job offer, I have no interest in it.

If you go to your home, where it displays both your clubs, there is an X that if you hover over it says quit club. It lists both my clubs in there so I assume if you click it it asks which club you want to quit. But I don't want to try it in case I quit United.

Yeah, i'm in a similiar position. I just hope that the home game figures are variable, otherwise i'm losing 50K every game. I'm assuming cup runs will help financies with prize money etc.

As things stand, i'll be about 1M in debt by the end of the season. But thats not calculating home income variation and cup games etc.

I think that's correct.

0-0 draw. Not great considering it was a home game against a weaker side. Marginally won possession and only had 6 shots. Although I didn't expect to control the game since I had a diamond and tactics to counter attack. In hindsight the wrong decision but I didn't see the point in changing a winning tactic.
