The Second RedCafe Sheep Draft

Okay, I'm semi-pleased to have got him, @antohan I hope you won't hate me for this pick, I think he fits well in my formation but I really didn't have the time to research at all(haven't even thought of Romario).
Like Boris I assume, a pretty safe pick
Not at all, that was Sajeev's 2nd round pick so I had come to terms with it.

Wait, you know who I got?

Not strictly speaking, just reading beteeen the lines. Probably wrong, but I love this business of having conversations where we both think we are talking about the se thing but we aren't. My favourite was Balu and "poisoned chalice", that was awesome.

I can take a pretty good guess at who Viva got. I'd certainly be happy with his comments if I still had to pick.

Still surprised a certain someone didn't get picked in the previous round. He's not available this round but I was 100% certain SOMEONE would have went for him.

How would people feel about Stoijkovic playing from an inside right type of position?

As in, he would begin from an attacking midfield position say 15/20 yards inside the pitch and play from that general area, with Cafu providing the width up the line.

From what I can tell he was always a no, 10 but could also play in central midfield, but will people buy it that he could still perform at his peak level from a position where on a graphic it puts him slightly right sided?

There has to be some kind of reason behind it though, Bruce Lee was known for his cross training in different arts but he can't be considered a footballer.

EDIT: Video referees sent me this photage and said 1-0 Harms.

That was a great start into this sheep draft business. Awesome round.

I have a different plan for a striker, plus I was pretty certain he got picked and couldn't afford risking a sheep at this limited round.

Anyway, I'm pleased with my team overall, might not be one of the best here, but it's definitely good.

He's a more flexible 10 than a Hagi. He was quite winger like with his dribbling and when he drifted to the wing.. he actually looked like a winger with his speed and quick changes of direction. I for one wouldn't see a problem.

The best way I can state this is to look at how a certain attacking midfielder played for teams in Spain, England, and Germany. out wide. Same with a certain attacking midfielder for teams in England and Spain.

The best way I can state this is to look at how Mickey Mouse performed when he played from the wide areas in (...). Of course, his performances weren't that consistent throughout his career at the wide areas, but it still provides a good indication of how Dragan can perform out in a wider attacking midfield role.

Also, observe Mickey Mouse for Disney, and you can have an idea on how to set up Dragan at such a role.

Indeed. He'd have no problem whatsoever performing such a role.

For what it's worth, I like a well built 'christmas tree', it's a great way to include free roaming AMs and it's no problem if a number 10 starts slightly wide as long as he's not forced to provide width in a way a winger would. Dragan certainly can play that role.

The Christmas Tree setup needs more direct players, though. Having players who like to receive the ball at the feet is fine if they frequently run at the opposition and disorganise defences. I don't know if Dragan is such a player who'll run at the opposition when receiving the ball. Such a formation will then need to require players taking up attacking and dangerous positions to work.

EDIT: Just watched some clips of him. Yep, he's perfectly fine in the Christmas Tree setup.

Depends how you set up the rest of the team, but yeah, the 2nd AM should be a more direct player, I agree with that.

10 p.m. It's always either 10p.m. or a.m. whatever comes first after the 24h/12h periods
