There's at least 5-6 players I would be massively worried about now. How come they haven't been blocked? Did nobody target them? Chances are there's an absolutely golden pair out there, untouched...
But which one?
I'm glad to see Maradona and Matthaus blocked. This should make for a much more interesting draft. I'm just hoping that there's still a few bombshell pairs remaining...

We know that one of the successfully picked pairs is a relatively safe one too. So...yes. There could easily be a killer pair out there, unpicked. The drama, eh? All they can do now is roll the dice. Utterly impossible to know who sits with what here among the successful boys.

I had more than 10 killer pairs, about 10 not including those blocked now. Six full passes, so four of them definitely still on the table. This is where knowing other managers and what they are likely to have gone for could come very handy. The problem is ont top of that there will be 8 managers out there trying to find those four...
Carnage, but the upside could be very very significant.

Boris basically did the same play as harms with Falcao, avoid the one that will definitely get blocked and block their natural partners so no other fecker gets into your game. Very clever, so long as you are happy with one of the two and the third choice, which in this case is absolutely fine. Proven pair as well...

We got double blocked, so we can switch over to any WC. Boris is stuck in that match/round because he only got Thuram blocked.

Just pick again mate based on the first round results. You'll have missed a turn obviously but you still should be fine.

Will it work for everyone if 9pm GMT is set for the original deadline for each round. The first 9pm GMT after 24 hours has passed. If the results are all in before that, I'll post early, but this way it gives the different time zones a bit of a buffer to still get some research in. After the original pick for each round, each subsequent pick will be 12 hours on from then.
So in theory, pick one deadline 9pm, pick 2 deadline 9am, pick 3 deadline 9pm.
Next round pick 1, 9pm the following day.

My research took all of 5 minutes, on my mobile as well. And that makes it a pretty disastrous start for me in this draft
