Film The Redcafe Movie review thread

Kurosawa, Hitchcock and Kubrick? I wanted to put Orson Welles or Polanski in place of Hitchcock but I haven't seen most of their stuff.

The Big Sleep
The Killing
Sunset Blvd.
Rififi
Strangers on a Train

Haven't seen Maltese Falcon, The Third Man or Double Indemnity.

You pick the next one.

Top 5 is impossibley hard, I'll forget about loads. So it'll have to be a rough list.

5 of any genre that have inspired me or left an imprint on me...

Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid
2001
Alien
Lawrence of Arabia
A Lady Vanishes

feck. I'm trying to think.

The first time I saw Butch Cassidy I saw it again 10 times in the next 2 months. I was in love with it. But after I saw The Sting BCSK lost its charm.

Revenge is hard, first ones that spring to mind are Kill Bill, Mad Max and Old Boy. But I don't think I've seen that many revenge flicks.

Yep.

Mad Max is a good'en.

Ran
Ichi the Killer
Godfather
Oldboy(any one of the trilogy)
Mad Max
