Aye!

It was like £17 which to be fair I did think will probably end up working out cheaper than renting it if I traded it in after. An abundance of games that I need to play stopped me from pulling the trigger though.

Have you still got a 360/PS3? I got the 360 version for two quid, so you could get that to see if you like it.

Sleeping Dogs is great. I've got it on 360 (Games with Gold), PS3 (PS Plus) and PC (code with graphics card), so of course they have to release an updated version of the game.

ffs I might already have it on games with gold

unless I forgot that month, which is entirely possible and would be really shit.

I wish the extra stuff like the dates, stealing/delivering cars didn't end so quickly. Still really like the game though.
That was a strange part of the game. I remember the first one,
with the Emma Stone character, seemed like it was starting some big story arc but 2 missions later it was finished.

Did they add more karaoke songs in the updated edition? That may convince me to buy it.

Best minigame ever.

Yeah it ended rather abruptly. I read online they were planning on adding more, but didn't have enough time so left it as it was. Which is a shame.

I can't say I enjoyed the karaoke much. Though watching him dance was pretty damn funny.

There was nothing much for PS4 in the Playstation Sale but bought LA noire for Ps3.

I haven't played it before. Game theme and opening Scenes look beautiful. Graphics are also nice, feels like a 2013-15 game rather than 4 years old game.

LA Noire was an interesting idea but it's probably the dullest open world in all open world games.

LA is just dead.

I started LA Noire a couple of months ago, but haven't gone back to it in a while. It's quite cool, but it gets repetitive, so I'll probably just go back every few months to play for an hour or so.

I've bought my first ever copy of a Street Fighter game. Hopefully it wont take me too long to learn how to play it, as I already know I'm going to be bloody terrible at it.

For the 3DS from Argos?

Nope, SFII for the Super Famicom

Was there a deal on the 3DS one or something?

Yeah it's been like £3 on Argos for a while. Not sure if it's still going.

Nice stuff though. SF2 was awesome.

Ah right, didn't know that. Just looked and it's £12.99 now.

Yeah, everyone always goes on about the classic Street Fighter games but I've always avoided them due to sucking at fighting games. Hopefully now I've got one I can finally figure it out.

I also bought Sim City on the Super Famicom at the same time, which will probably be rather interesting trying to play that in Japanese.

Not if he ever wants to be a part of the playstation family

I'm going to download Dragon Age: Inquisition tonight. Anyone know if should get the ps4 or the pc version? I've heard the pc version is slightly buggier, but my download speeds on my ps4 are stupidly slow, so that's making me lean towards pc

There are no bugs on PC version, but the controls are pretty shit. It was clearly made for console.

Anyone played Talmit's Adventure (called Marvel Land in other countries) on the Mega Drive? Got it from Amazon this morning, it looks like a pretty fun game.

I haven't kept up to date on the patches since my first play through, but this is one game I'd lean towards console. Even if you're only concerned with SP. The PC version was a hot mess on release.

I used to love the GBA game boxes.

The PSX games had some immense box art, but those cases themselves were truly shite.
Yeah the GBA ones were cool. I prefer the original Game Boy ones out of the three, but all the GB line had nice boxes.

The US PS1 cases were better. I was never 100% sure why the PAL ones were so much thicker, I guess because of the thicker manuals or something. The Dreamcast and DS cases were thicker over here than the Japanese and US ones, too. Bloody annoying.

Yup, though the DS and 3DS boxes are a bit meh.

I don't think I've ever seen a US PS1 box first hand, wouldn't take much to be better though. Just thinking of FF VIII's box, what a horrid device.

I've never seen one in person either, but they see to be just basic CD cases so they're a bit more compact and slightly sturdier.

I just looked up FF VIII and it seems to be one of those double cases? Do you not like those ones? I always thought out of the PS1 cases they were the coolest :p

It's a bit worse than most double cases, as the middle piece holds a disc either side too. Every time you opened it, there was a good chance one or both of the middle discs would fall out.
