Brwned is building quite a side there. No nonsense either, just chalking off decades and getting on with it.

Passarella is quite the coup. Worse centre backs were already picked.

Jairzinho is brilliant imo, with Ronaldinho on the other flank that is scary. Teams will be stretched to the max against Theon.
 
I lost one classic attacking fullback, won't risk losing the other.

The All-Time draft indicated he is horrendously underrated but none could score the best World Cup final goal ever.

Yep, from my POV, only Scirea, Maldini and Fachetti can be argued to be picked before Passarella.

His flanks do look good, but I still think he's a bit overated in the grand scheme. I think Figo is definitely better and there's one or two more too. Obviously I can't be sure what Theons thinking with the decade rule etc..

Really? I think you have to be careful with Passarella as he needs the right kind of partner. I learnt this the hard way in the all-time draft.

I loved Jairzinho. With Garrincha already on board he was out of bounds but I would have happily taken him otherwise.

I had no plans for Passarella, he is not the easiest to deploy (Theon and NM know full well my reasons ;)) and there's no room for upgrading him in the 50s.

At present I have half a CB though so I'm in no position to criticise! :lol:

Nah no way there are more unpicked wingers better than Jairzinho, I think he is easily as good as Figo but less flexible and Figo is from a better decade

At present my tactic is Carlos Alberto charge-Garrincha pile up-Eusebio on the prowl.

feck all idea what the rest of the team will do but Desailly gives me insurance and options there.

The beauty with Figo is being able to play him either side to accommodate whatever you get later but I do agree using up the 70s on Figo is nowhere near as good as the 40s on Jairzinho, although I was at pains closing that down, 2-3 damn good players still available there.

Midfield looks class. Souness was the right man to compliment the existing two. You still have the option to go for a diamond as well, or atleast have a spare CM as the 12th pick in case you need extra defensive ability. Personally with Zidane I wouldn't have gone for Suarez instead someone more physical and good defensively who was also good/decent on the ball or a proper box to box player. But then with Zidane and suarez you would have that extra number of chances created which is good to have.

I'm very familiar with Garrincha, and the other 3-4 I have in mind. All starters. Will get raped on the polls, but hey!
 
feck sakes I was eyeing Souness, anyway think I'll go for Socrates as my 50s choice.
