Wouldn't surprise me if Hearn is there....might have to get Chisora and Whyte back as hype men for it!
It could be and I accept this point. To Joshua and Hearn's credit though despite the inactivity etc Wlad is the current best available option (Fury won't be fighting for ages, if ever) so they have got the best fight possible. Joshua is constantly slated and rightfully so for taking bum fights and poor opponents but this one is a good challenge and fight. Don't get me wrong with Hearn everything is calculated and he will see a weakness in Wlad with the inactivity and ageing but this fight really does give potential to take Joshua on to a new level and be the proper face of heavyweight boxing. The guy is a potential superstar and the division is slowly getting better.
For all the shite served up in boxing this is a genuine interesting fight. I'm not even a massive Joshua fan really but it's good to get new fans into boxing and he can help do it. I think AJ wins and it's stopped after about 7 or so rounds.
As for the card the other night, it was as expected except Chisora vs. Whyte which was a great fight. I thought Chisora won it but it was close.
I agree and don't get me wrong I'm not saying it will be an easy night just that post-fury there's a lot more questions about klitschko now. What i saw in the fury fight was a guy who was unable to step it up despite clearly losing the fight, after so many years of out jabbing no-hopers he had no idea how to deal with a genuine threat. maybe the break will clear his head and being sans belts he might have some fire back but at this point I fancy joshua to knock him out. i'm excited for it, will be getting tickets i reckon
i had chisora winning too which surprised me as i've never a been a big fan of del boy, showed a lot of heart and nous against a much younger and fitter guy. there's gotta be a chance a rematch will happen and possibly on the undercard as i reckon its a relatively cheap fight to make and hearn needs some controversy to fatten out his PPV
