I would say he has much less of a chance than Khan did against Alvarez and that ended in one of the most brutal kO's in recent years. You just don't know though, this is boxing and anyone stepping into the ring has a chance. If Golovkin hits him a few clean shots to the body early in the fight, it'll change up Brooks entire plan and it could easily be a first round K.O.
It would appear the only way Brook can win is on points, if he knocks out Golovkin I will be shocked, it would be one of the most unlikely KO's in history.
He's up against it, Golovkin is many peoples number 1 pound of pound fighter in the world. But Kell hasn't truly been tested and will be fighting at a more natural weight, so it a bit of an anomaly.

I don't agree. At least in that match, Khan had a huge advantage on speed. Here, there isn't anything that Brook does better than GGG.
carl froch is a right ballbag. malignaggi the best analyst they've ever had, he calls the fights perfectly.

They've showing loads of their old fights on SS. Watched one and Golovkin took out this Pole with a crunching left-right to either ribs then an uppercut. Was pretty brutal.

The way Froch started dropping Calzaghe's name about the place once it was clear Joe was retiring was embarrassing.
The moment Golovkin lands something of note on Brook, he'll be disheartened.

Golovkin is dangerous but I do think there's a bit too be said about his fight record. It's not exactly a who's who of top boxers. I think this will be comfortably his toughest test and Brook will cause him some problems.
