Joshua will have learnt more from that than all his previous fights, he fecked about and got caught but he got through it.

Great KO finish.

Boom motherfecker!!! Decent workout for Joshua, got through trouble in round 2 and 3 then came back well. Good exercise for him. Should do him well for later. Still didn't look as good as the hype suggests.

That's why there's no real talk of him fighting somebody like Fury at this stage.

AJ is the real deal. He was wobbled in the 2nd and 3rd rounds but what a performance to come out of that and KO Whyte like that. A gut-check fight.

Whyte took some real shots, he had a granite chin. But there was no way he could keep taking them. He's a street fighter, a thug. Deserved victory for AJ, the class came through in the end. Justice for him and his goons coming after AJ at the end of the first round.

Bring on Tyson Fury.

Joshua and Wilder are both just big powerful stiff robots. Fury was born to be a boxer, just so much more fluid.

Not sure he is ready for that fight yet. He has still much to learn, his foot movements aren't the best I've ever seen.

If he continues like this, he should be able to become champion within 2 years though.

I agree. Fury would have no troubles with Joshua at all.

Decent fight in the end- at least it was a test. Avoided this thread for the last four rounds cos I got paranoid my stream was really slow.

Not ready for a fight like that yet, thats a big step up in class, he needs a few more at this level now, if he wants a world championship target Wilder, i know he has a massive power in his punch but he would be easier to beat than Tyson.

Fury's underestimated because of his personality, but the guy's a very skilled boxer for a guy his size. You only have to look at how hard Klitschko found it to hit him.

It's real hatred between Joshua and whyte isnt it... I thought something was going to happen after the fight with that fella mouthing off at Joshua.

Joshua did seem a bit smug in his interview

Gotta fight someone like Povetkin now. He'd lose though, so probably too soon.

Chisora would be a safe bet. Haye would beat him with experience.

Whytes entourage didn't look happy. Looked like one of em was calling AJ out backstage. Hope there's no trouble.

One man's fluid is another man's unorthodox or just wrong. I agree with you though.
Last thing I'd call Fury is "fluid", looked twitchy as feck, if effective. Still, Joshua is far from ready for him.

It definitely highlights how well Fury moved during that fight though. Not to mention his hand speed.

He's on an upward trajectory though, the potential and power is there for all to see. It would be a good fight for the end of 2016/ early 2017.

Malignaggi is excellent on comms it has to be said, really enjoy listening to him.

Nah I quite like Joshua as boxers go, they just both really hate each other.

He's good to watch but his a c*nt or a nasty character masquerading as a (diplomatic, media trained) nice guy. His promoted Eddie Herne said as much on the iflTV interview. Whyte with his antics and the rivalry brought that out a bit more. Then again though, they say pretty much all celebrities have a 'tv side' from their real self.

In fairness you won't find many nice guys who knock people out for a living, the media trained part is just part of putting a professional presentation on what is a brutal vocation. Nothing fake about it and he's not masquerading as anything, he just confines the nasty stuff to the ring as every fighter should.

Roy Jones Jnr KO'd by Enzo. Time to hang the gloves.

Surely he can handle the likes of Chisora, Adamek, Perez, at this point? He has to step it up. Can't keep fighting deadwood.
