Del Boy should've retired after becoming rich.

Del Boy has been added to Saturday's card

Wasn't he fighting in Germany a week or so ago too? Quick turn around.

IBF stripping the title off Fury is poor but expected. Especially given the rematch is part of the original contract that their champion at the time stipulated in order to defend against Fury in the first place. Tyson is merely fulfilling a pre-existing obligation that they were a part of.

The organisations never want a unified champ as it lowers the rate of sanctioning fees available to them. Of course had Klitschko won, it wouldn't have been a problem though. As he didn't, paper champions assemble!

Eubank Jr - O'Sullivan is as interesting a match up as any standard Matchroom fight can be. CEJ should clearly win and most likely he will do so under relative comfort but there is more than just marketing a big punch about O'Sullivan. That said, Billy Joe Saunders landslide win over him has been comically glossed over by Sky, as expected.

As for the big guys going at it, I expect AJ to do a number on Whyte but it's an interesting fight. Joshua's first truly "live" risk anyway. Still a calculated gamble heavily in his favour as while Whyte looks a class above the opposition he's faced, the level of that opposition has still been suspect. Will he truly have no fear and fight aggressively? If so it will be good to see Joshua's chin tested before the expected demolition reigns down.

It's another cleverly marketed card really, I can't see any Matchroom fighters struggling. All their opposition is decent but hardly great. I like Joshua but it would be funny if he lost just to see Hearn's reaction to it really.

Del Boy - Joshua is inevitable now that the former has changed trainers. At least he can take a punch if nothing else.

I swear Tyson Fury is just trolling everyone, exaggerating on the whole "thank God" fighters do when winning a fight.

People should watch his interviews prior, hes just a big goofy cnut

As mistaken I believe his views are and as ugly the scenes they create, to ostracise him I feel would be the wrong way to deal with it. It's true people have looked down on him, belittled his achievement(s). I fear people like him less than the people who will think nothing of trampling on anyone who challenge their own beliefs. We live in a world where we all have faults and some of those faults are a product of our environment, and our ability to rationalize. I'm glad the BBC has not removed him from the SPOTY award, as it teaches us that tolerance is a virtue to be valued rather than some of the plain hatred that has been thrown in his direction. He is a person that has displayed some remarkable attributes that could be celebrated, yet he has also displayed some uglier attributes that deserve ridicule. The way it has been handled by some of those in prominent positions, in the media, and elsewhere has been at least as unsavoury as their target. There are no winners here....

You have to be very insecure if you think Tyson Fury's comments are a hate crime towards you. Incidentally, I don't see anything in the Bible which talks of homosexuality, abortion and paedophilia having to be accomplished in the sense of being legalised (I take it legalisation is what Fury means by the word accomplished) before the end of the world. I've not read of any ancient cultures practising paedophilia nor will paedophilia ever be legalised, but certainly homosexuality has been around without open condemnation in many cultures, and child sacrifice (the closest thing I could find to abortion) has also been prevalent in some cultures, and the Bible certainly does classify these things as sin.

So if you want to go down the road of labelling Fury a terrible person because he believes what the Bible teaches, then that's up to you, but you are also labelling all Bible-believing Christians (and no I am not including those who try to misrepresent the consistent Biblical condemnation of sexual immorality, which includes all sexual activity outside of marriage defined as that between a man and a woman) as terrible people. That's your prerogative; it doesn't affect me in any way, and Fury seems to be saying that you're welcome to that conclusion of him, also, which means the only people who are standing in the way of anybody's freedoms are those trying to ostracize Fury from the wider sporting community because of his faith. Fury's problem seems to be an inability to express himself eloquently (he says himself he left school at an early age).

Joshua is 17 stone 7 pounds ripped. wow.

Haha same mate!! Be more surprised if he wasn't juicing to be honest....in fairness to him same can be said for pretty much most top level boxers really.

Yes. Just look at the amount of spots on the back of Tony Bellew's opponent. Sure signs of steroid use.

Expecting another dominant win from Joshua.

Anyone know what time the Eubank Jr fight starts?

Joshua looks massive, must be on something. Quite like Whyte and would like to see him win but can't see it. He sure does bring out Anthony's darker side though, the real him, not the media trained one Herne talks about...

Looking forward to the Eubank fight more tbh. Joshua fight is another rent-a-bum (slightly better opponent, but nothing much about him all the same). Hearn managing his most valuable asset well.

Malignaggi looking the class above his opponent that he really is.

Bellew annoys me but his trainer in the corner is ace, Sky have had to apologise for the language loads.
Yep,

Dunno why, but the Creed thing on his shorts irritates me. I know he was involved in the film or whatever, but still.

Paedophilia was widely practised in ancient Greece btw, so you're wrong there.
Bloody hell who let Merkel in the other sports section

That was Pacquiao-esque

I don't know why boxers do this to themselves. There's simply no need to come out of retirement to get beaten up like this. He's made his name and his money - surely he's just tarnishing it now, and endangering his health.
It's sad isn't it, seeing them getting battered by guys not fit to lace their gloves back in the day.
