Alvarez has to get past Lara before that can be considered.

I also don't see Pac moving up.

Yeah this is pretty pointless, completely different class. Where do they find these guys.

Thurman and Matthysse both fighting tonight

Leapai was KO'd by Kevin f*cking Johnson.

Just the latest in a long line of complete farces from Wlad. He's a disgrace.

That fight was pretty much a preview of what will happen to Wilder when he fights Wlad, a real lack of ring knowledge and skills from Leapai, you have to be a boxer and a puncher to beat Wlad as well as having height on your side as well and for all his shit talk Tyson might stand a chance, if he goes in with a proper plan.

If Wlad fights Briggs next he should be stripped for wasting our time and will go down as an average world champion even with his record.

You do realise that Wilder is 6'7, right? And has KO'd every guy he's fought?

In my opinion, he is completely untested and a wild brawler with no chance, but he does meet some of your criteria.

That's what i meant as all he has is his big punch, which was all Leapai was supposed to have and from what iv seen of Wilder Wlad will find his chin easy to get to.

Biggest fight night of the year tonight.

Broner v Molina
Khan v Collazo
Mayweather v Maidana.

Mayweather trying to add the WBA Welterweight to his name.

Both guys wear the same gloves and Floyd has a history of hand problems.

I don't believe he is worried in the slightest. Maidana is made for him.

Hearing that it has been resolved; Maidana will wear the same brand he planned to use. Some people will say that Mayweather is just looking for publicity, personally I think he is his own worst critic and is actually worried about the fight.

It's usually written into the contract that both guys wear the same to avoid this kind of thing. I still remember the Morales/Pac Reyes dispute.

Guess he will retire undefeated. Not even Manny could do it if they ever met. Khan better beat whoever the feck he is facing.

He has a puncher's chance.
I don't even give him that, as I think his power is overrated. He hit Khan flush and couldn't put him away and Floyd has never shown any sign of being chinny.

He was also comprehensively outboxed by Devon Alexander who is worse than Floyd in every department.

It's just a bit of a shame for boxing that he's fighting Maidana when there are closer and more exciting fights out there.
Realistically speaking, who?

I think Garcia is a better opponent than Maidana, but he arguably lost his last fight. You have to go to 154 and guys like Lara or maybe Andrade next year.

"Realistically speaking", so that automatically discounts anyone on HBO, that's what I think is a shame. So you're saying at welter and on Showtime. Even with those conditions Maidana isn't the best fight that can be made.

Unfortunately it does.

Given that, who would you go for? Also 154 is realistic, too.

As long as Floyd gets in the ring with Mikey Garcia (I know he's too small right now) before he retires, I'll be content. Also need a stream. If BoxNation didn't have the subscription fee, I'd be tempted.

Anyone know what time khan's fight begins?

The fight is in Vegas, and I imagine Khan/Collazo will be second on the card. I would guess 3.30am? Maybe 4?
