It's still late. Obviously I'm an hour later than you guys as well.
Not sure if it for the States, this is a bit early for them.
It's early but its now in a watchable time frame for parts of America, earlier and none of it would be watching.
A lot of the time they consider the target audience, in this case Britain for Froch and then make it fit as many possible time zones as they can. They make it as late as feasibly possible for British viewers and those attending the match and also for those viewing in America.

Good first round from Froch. Surprised how low his arms seem to be, though I've not really seen much of him in the past.
