The RedCafe Boxing Thread

Was very entertaining start, Anthony Crolla v Derry Matthews could be a good one.

Golovkin just snatched another soul. Knocked Ishida out cold and almost out of the ring.

Crolla trying to box too much on the back foot, better to see him have a go as the fight was slipping away

fecking hell, some insane scoring. Complete joke to have Chilemba by four.

Shocking, how did one judge give it to chilemba by 4 rounds when Bellew won the first 6 and there was no knock down. Bellew won by at least 5 rounds.

Think he won by two rounds, but to have him losing by four.. it makes no sense. Completely mental.

Crolla fight was terrific, thought he nicked it but you could argue the draw. Isaac was an awkward piece of work for Bellew but he had it won by a couple, shocking decision really.

I don't think chilemba done anything to claim one of the first 6 rounds and Bellew certainly took 9 and 10.

Great fight but somehow underwhelmed, probably because I was expecting Rios to stage a rally that never quite materialised. I love brawlers in the mould of Rios, Gatti, Katsidis, but the downside is that they have such a short shelf life. I hope Rios hasn't already peaked as he's such an exciting fighter.

Yeah he didn't come across great. There was a point I think in the third or fourth round where he seemed to be hurt and he never really recovered. A third fight would be a must see.

Matthew Macklin got another world title shot against Golovkin. Good luck to him

I reckon the first fight was better!

Gotta love Rios, though, you're guaranteed an absolute tear up every time he steps into the ring.

Would love to see him in there with Maidana, Matthysse or Broner.

Rigo is looking for that counter, don't think he wants to brawl at all!

Cheers man! Final round, needs to come out swinging

Couple of writers ringside saying that the fight is much closer than the HBO commentary team are claiming, I think they have it pretty much spot on!
