I really rate Thiago, but having a youth as a central midfielder is a bit fishy. Really don't want to see Thiago in a role up against Roy Keane for example. Even if I love Thiago I think that him and most youngsters would have a quite poor performance. Considering there are quite a few of the Keane-type around, I just want to avoid a CM and play the youth player in a role where they can shine in a pacey/technical role.

Even without him on my team...I'd debate that. Jones definitely had the potential, but being shifted to multiple positions stunted his growth....not to say he can't still be a first team player for us, but he needs to settle into one position first. Plus Marquinhos fits better alongside Forster than Jones would.

feck it, I'll pick the one who is currently the best and most complete defender in World Football, by a distance. You only have to see what happened to Brazil once he wasn't around to cover Gung-ho Nutter Bob.

The only way I can see him lasting to the next round (8 picks in between) is if everyone assumed he was too young, which is a bit mental and hopeful.
